Went to Vegas last month for work. The company rented me a Ford Escape. I
was quite impressed. Get the 2WD version for better mileage. It was
excellent on the strip, off road behind Nellis AFB, respectable around Las
Vegas Motor Speedway and sure footed on the worst part of Route 66 between
Kingman AZ and Needles CA. And the A/C was fully up to the Mojave desert.

And, I could carry 5 adults in itjust fine.

For an old Dodge guy, the Escape imprssed me.

Considering your caravan was totaled and your alive to think about
what to replace it with, the choice is clear. get another caravan.
Even with just a couple of kids its great to have the extra space.
But if you just don't want it, get the new Dodge Magnum, its got a
Hemi.

They look like they were not quite done building them to me.

I wonder sometimes what the auto manufacturers are thinking.

I used to think the Aztec was the ugliest thing on the road but the
Element took the prize.
