Greg[_1_]
I bought a new fuel sending unit for my CJ7, 15 gallon steel tank, on the
parts computer at NAPA it said "fuel sending unit, does not include
strainer", online parts I see they say "does not included strainer", NAPA
looked to see if there was a strainer I could get seperate, but there isn't....

2000 Grand Cherokee w/Quadradrive; Differential by
Jerry Bransford[_2_]
Just about every GL-5 gear lube appropriate for an axle *already* has
the friction modifier additive included. Look on the back label where
it will include words to the effect "compatible with limited slip
differentials".

Jeep Pull by

I haven't posted in awhile been duck the flame wars and filling my kill file
but found this interesting.
Last week some of my friends went out and did a little playing in the woods
in all they had a great time. Then the topic came up, which jeep was better
a V6 engine or a I6 engine. Well as...

Which is why you never won one. Crosswords usually have words longer than

A few times I've bought tires at Costco. They reluctantly will mix tires
from different manufacturers. I strictly 'on-road'.
Does any one know the real reason?

The Eternal Failure Speaks Again. More tripe from the all-time Loser. by
Pink Freud©®
Well, Billie, not only are you a Failure, you are a MASSIVE failure.
You are 6680 posts behind even your new, shortened rules. It really should
be 66,800, but you even backed down from that.
So, what's next, 1 for 1? Can you even handle that?
For all the good it's doing you, you may as well just...

Brake and tire Question by
D&LBusch
I recently purchased a 95 Cherokee and I'd appreciate if anyone has info on
these tow questions:
1. It passed NYS inspection and the brake linings are fine. However, unless
I'm very gentle the rear brakes lock up when I press on the pedal. I can
usually avoid it, but I know it isn't right. Is...

XJ Rear Disc Brake Conversion by
98XJ
Hello Group & Thanks in advance for any information...
I have a '98 XJ which needs some rear brake work. So, when I go about
it, I was figuring that I might convert to discs.
I've bought and read the Eric Zappe book ("Hi-Po XJ Builder's Guide")
which describes the conversion procedure, but it...

The economics of propane by
Bret Ludwig
Propane is getting VERY attractive as a motor fuel yet the general
tendency of US drivers is to stick their noses in the air over the
idea of propane vehicles. Why are Americans dense like this?

1988 Jeep Comanche Pioneer seats by
cowboy67
Howdy all,
I am enjoying my new/old Jeep Comanche! I am looking to maybe change
out the bench seat and put in bucket seats.
I am wondering if anyone has done this and if it is all that hard?
Basically, I want to put a center console in or possibly a slip seat
box for my ham & CB Radios.
Any...

Anyone replaced a YJ heater core? by
Greg[_1_]
Need to replace a heater core in my daughter's 95 YJ, how hard is it? Only
other one I've done is a Grand Am, real pain in the ass. If you are going to
tell me to take dash out, well I've never done that either, looking more for
where the screws are, can I get to them without taking dash out?...
