Leaking Spider & it's not the roof. by
David Rees
The first question everybody asks me is,
"Why haven't you done anything about it before?" Well I tried!
Purchased in 1998, it's leaked from new.
It's only now that I've really started experimenting to discover the route
the water is taking. Frustratingly, it's been very easy.
Some of the water...

across a couple of manuals for the GT Junior. One is a Autobooks workshop

Paul Woodsford
I have a Nov03 147 1.6TS, Lusseo with the standard Radio/CD.

At the moment I always haveto increase the volume when I switch on the unit.

Alfa 164 ABS Warning by
D & J Merrylees
Hi,
I have a 1990 Alfa 164 3.0 V6, and the ABS warning light on the dash comes
on intermittently after a recent WOF check.
Self check is OK when turning ignition on, and after starting the car. Light
comes on while driving after 5-10 minutes. No other warning lights come on.
On the same day of...

Hope no-one got the wrong idea about me before. by
MeatballTurbo
The jump from a £500-£2k wasn't intended.
I just mentioned that I was used to spending sub £500 for cheap, tatty
but solid motors that did what I needed them to do, but wanted something
better now.
The budget was always going to be £2k or if possible less.
On the subject of 8v Vs 16v (chain Vs...

International Alfa Romeo 147 Meeting in Maranello, Italy by
Neuropean
I'm driving the 1200 km to be there on the 22nd of May.
Information can be found at http://www.147virtualclub.it/maranello.php
Even though they've already closed the subscriptions, the area in
front of the Galleria Ferrari in Maranello is quite large, so there's
also probably space for those...

Ansa replacement indicated... by
Dr Entropy
.... mostly by the loud, truck-like exhaust note just developed yesterday.
Sheesh, you'd think th' thing would last more than the 28 years (and three
cars) it's seen ;-}

That's another MOT passed, then :-) by
SteveH
Have to say that I'm surprised that a 14 year old, hard driven 75 only
got an 'advisory' on a silencer bracket.
Nice bloke testing, too. Completed the test, then went to write out the
certificate before coming back to me saying:
'Pop back in a couple of days so I can give you a 13-month ticket...

156 - Strong petrol smell after filling up by
MG
I know that Alfas are meant to be for petrol-heads but...
Now that the good weather has arrived I like to get the sunroof open.
However, for the first 50 miles or so after filling up this means
putting uip with a very strong smell of petrol. It seems to be worse
when I've been chucking it round...
