'01 Miata - changing out Bose Radio for aftermarket by
Karl North
Hello All,
I'm changing out the factory Bose CD system in my '01 because I want to
have MP3 capability and XM Radio. I am going to put in an Alpine head unit
etc. I would LIKE to reuse the factory speakers as I do like the way they
sound.
Is the Bose amp built into the head unit or is it...

'90 MX5, cracks around door latch by
Tom Robeson
I just bought a '90 Miata from a friend (he ordered it new,
took delivery in July '89-it has 142k miles) and there are
small cracks in the sheet metal around the latch on the
drivers door. What is the correct fix for this?
I have tons
of questions for the car, which as far as I can tell has

'91 Miata steering noise by
Steve Cabito
With my '91B shut off, when I wobble the steering wheel quickly left/right a
few inches, there's a click/clunk from the front. Sounds like it's on the
passenger side, but I'm not sure. I held each joint while someone moved the
wheel and couldn't feel any play. In the old days, you could just...

(it was a "test only" facility) said he suspected the oxygen sensor needed
replacement. everything else tested fine. any other thoughts out there

'92 doesn't crank by
~Mike Hollywood
Hi,
I garaged my '92 in May in Florida, and then left until yesterday. Last
night I tried to start it but the battery was dead. I charged the battery
over night. It is fully charged now. Turning the key all's ok, fans spin,
dash lights go on, etc, but when I turn the key to the last position...

'92 hard starting when warm!? by
[email protected]
Folks,
I have a '92 Miata with about 120,000 miles on it. For the last couple
of months I have had trouble starting it when the engine is warm. I
rarely do this but when it happens I am sweating it as it cranks and
takes me some time to start it. At that time I can smell a lot of
gasoline. ...
