Possibe to lean out a TJ 6 Cyl? by jocoman
I believe TJ's are set up to run on the "rich" side. Do any of these after market chips lean out the fuel? I'm looking for improved mileage and I think the TJ is running overly rich. My tailpipe is always a deep black. Other possibilities? Comments? Thanks

Dana35C RIP by Matt Macchiarolo
It's taken me nine years but my Dana 35C is finally going belly-up. Went to the Badlands in July and ever since it started acting up. When I opened it up I found the cross-shaft pinion gears had lost some teeth. So an upgrade axle is in the works but I wanted to see if I could get the old one...

Leaky axle problem. Dana 35 by GGinn
Hi everyone. I have a 95 YJ with a Dana 35 rear, and it is leaking gear oil from the passenger side of the pumpkin were the tube is pressed in. It is not a leaky cover. I wipe it down at night, and it does not leak until its driven. It is wet down the axle housing to the shock perch. I know its the...

TJ Gas Tank by dwk
While under my 97 TJ I noticed that the gas tank skid pan was badly rusted.......my finger went right through it and out came a bunch of small rocks and dirt........certainly from my past "muddin" days. Since most of my 4 wheelin' is now light I'm thinking of just removing the pan.......now...

Update on axle ratio by Frank_v7.0
I had a 3.07 in my '04 TJ (62,000 mi) and I wanted to have a 3.73, but it didn't seem economically feasible. Just traded for an '06 TJ with a 3.73 rear. Problem solved :-) It has the 25X package (Ecco aluminum wheels, 3.73 with Trac-Lok, Hard top, A/C, cruise control and 6 CD changer) And the...

Where is that drain on the 95 ZJ Limited? by Lon
Bad case of old socks smell. Never happened in the SJ Bay area where the humidity was always high and tree leaves were a car cover. Now, in dry Colorado with no trees near the car, it has begun to reek. Is there an entry/exit from underneath on the passenger side I can go upwards from...

liquid sealant? by nrs
Water gets into my '95 YJ every time it rains. I tracked it down to the side windshield hinge bolt area but my efforts to seal it with RTV have failed so far. Does anyone know if there is liquid automotive sealant available? Something that will seep into cracks by capilary action and...

CJ brake light update by Greg[_1_]
So I changed the signal switch in my 81 CJ7, after having only one brake light if I turn on signal, found that wiggleing the signal switch got my brake light back. So anyway, changed the switch, but now I have one brake light brighter then the other, they work fine, and now work with signals....

WJ help needed by bill
I know that it must have been addressed before, but I need help with 17" rims/tires. I need help deciding which to buy. I drive many miles daily, so rain, snow and treadwear are the issues. Treadwear is the top priority, but won't compromise performance for longevity. Suggestions? If a 2"...

Wierd A/C problem, 97 ZJ by J. Clarke
Came out of Home Despot this afternoon and got in the Jeep and the A/C blower was going full blast with the ignition off and the key out. Started it up and the blower stopped. Ran the controls through their paces, and the blower seemed to behave as expected. Turned off the ignition, and the...

Update: Swap from NV247 to NP242? by The Reverend Natural Light
I haven't made the swap yet, but I did figure out that the NV247 Quadra Trac II works a lot better... ....when there's oil in it. Oops. Takes a special oil, too.
