How to Remove Visor Stickers by Ken Shackelford
Just received my new Unlimited and was wondering about the best way to remove those godawful ugly rollover warning stickers on the sun visors. Any easy way to do this? Failing that, anywhere I can get unblemished aftermarket visors? Thanks, Ken

BFG AT's on a heavy vehicle and around rocks? by Jeff Olsen
You guys are a great tire resource. I need tires for my '95 Land Cruiser. It came with Michelin AT's on it, but I broke one on a rock while doing some moderate wheeling on a camping trip last week. I like the snow performance of the BFG AT (this vehicle will be taking us skiing and snowboarding a...

Good News -- Boy Scout Found in Utah by Jeff Strickland
As of about 12:15 pacific time, the kid at the Boy Scout Camp in Utah has been found alive and in excellent shape. They are taking him to Children's Hospital in Salt Lake (I think), for observation, but he is fine and unhurt. I know you guys like a happy ending, and maybe this is your first source...

Teraflex Sway Bar Disconnect Washer Fit? by B a r r y
This past weekend, I replaced a broken sway bar end on my '99 TJ Sport with a Teraflex quick disconnect kit. To others who have used this kit, on your installation; did the washer fit between the lower bushing and hitch pin? Mine aren't even close, so I'm currently not using the washers. I can...

Tranny ID by Tim Watkins
I'm trying to ID an auto tranny I have. I know Jeep used the Chrysler 904 and the 999 in their 80's era CJ's. Does anyone know how to tell the two apart? The 904's were used behind the 4cyl and the 999 behind the 6cyl engines. It's my understanding that the cases are exactly the same, just the...

Over heating 4.0L by dcollivier
90 Cherokee 4.0L back on road after winter, it now overheats. I changed the thermostat and refilled. Still overheats. I thought that maybe it could be an air lock or something, but after playing with the system I can't seem to get it any better. I tried burping the system by cracking the...

Liberty tire size by bryan
Just added a second Jeep to our household, a '04 Liberty, 3.7 liter. Stock tires size is 215/75-16. I "think" the rear-end ratio for the Liberty Sport is 4.10, but I could be wrong. How big a tire will go on this without rubbing. I am talking about on-road use mostly, primarily for those nasty...

Ball Joints 01 TJ by Troy
Hi. Replacing the upper and lower ball joints on my 01 TJ, with a kit bought from Napa (closest store). The kit is made by KDS. The upper ball joint came out okay, but the kit's pipe is just a tad bit too small to go around the bottom ball joint, to press it out. I was wondering if anyone has...

Jeep YJ Lift and Transmission Question by Keane Gruending
Hey, I am looking at buying a Jeep YJ and I went and looked at a 95 YJ today. It has a body lift on it, and the owners claim that this body lift messes with the transmission linkage a bit. I took it for a drive, and there is a bit of a grind going from 2-3, but the owners assure me that this is due...

Jeep Wagoneer Running VERY Rich by [email protected]
Hi, I have an 87 Jeep Wagoneer with the 4.0. It seems to be running very very rich at the moment amd I have no clue why either. It's actually running so rich that I am getting about 4 miles to the gallon. Now, you all need to understand that this is an offroad beater, so it's been ridden hard, and...
