How to reset adaptive transmission? by
William Maslin
I seem to recall that there was some procedure to reset the adaptive
transmission on A4/MKIV cars. Something about turning on the ignition
and holding the accelerator all the way down for a certain length of
time.
If this is true, is there a similar procedure for the MKV cars?
Thanks,
Bill

02 Jetta turn signal by
JayBuggs
Hello. I am new to the group. I need some help with my 02 Jetta. Does
anyone know how to remove the stearing wheel (air bag equiped) so I
can replace the t-signal/high beam switch? I have removed stearing
wheels before, but not with an air bag.
Thanks, Jay

Stuck in Park by
lobo
Had to have the car (2000 Jetta 1.8t automatic trans) towed home tonight due
to it not wanting to come out of park. I am thinking it may be the shift
lock solenoid. Any ideas before I tear into the console?
Thanks in advance,
Ray

90 - 94 Passat Audio Wiring. A MESS!!! by
Gyuri
Hi. My lovely dad just got me a 90 Passat as a winter beater because I
don't want my project car to rust during the cold season. The idiot
who sold it removed the MP3 player by cutting all the wires and I have
no idea what is what. I tried to look at the speakers to see what
color cables go there...

Volkswagen's forgotten supercar by
sjmassey
Before there was the W12-650 Golf GTI there was another VW concept car
packing the 6.0L W12 engine, and this one was much more befitting such
an awesome powerplant. The car was the 2001 Nardo supercar concept and
it featured a 600hp version of the engine and a kerb weight of just
1,200kg.

Woodchuck were are you? by

Clutch not slipping but not disengaging well. Clutch peddle feels light.
I think either my release arm is cracked, actuation finger worn or stripped
the arm. Maybe the TO bearing but that doesn't make noise. The push rod
could be worn or something. Anyway the symtoms. 215K miles on the clock
and...

Golf Swing Secret Being Kept Quiet by
[email protected]
If someone knows the golf swing secret to hitting 300-yard drives down
the middle of the fairway every time they swing at the ball, and it
will work for everybody, they are not sharing it. This is evidenced by
the number of new training aids and swing techniques coming to the
market every year....
