rabbit injector problems by
[email protected]
the injectors leak a bit on my 82 rabbit 1.7 CIS. What options do I
have to fix this? Would the cleaning service do any good? I was
thinking of buying used ones on ebay. Anybody have decent used ones
for sale? Or where is an affordable source of injectors? Thanks.

Touareg tires by
[email protected]
I have a 2005 Touareg V8 with Continental 275/45/R19 108Y tires. I
banged up the passenger tire by hitting a curb. Took a chunk out of the
tire. I need to replace this one tire. However, a dealer is saying that
I have to replace all 4 tires to keep them in balance or something.
There are only 10k...

1987 Golf v-belts replace?? by
kwalters
Gas 8v engine with A/C. Can the power steering belt
and the A/C belt be replaced easily? and is the access to
the power steering bolts from under the car? Looks to be
the case to me. Or, are this best left to a shop?
Thanks. Ken

95 Jetta reverse problem by
SteveVW
Can someone help me? I bought my 95 Jetta III 2 years ago with 88000 mi.
The reverse was making a loud noise when backing up which the dealer said
was normal and later found out that it is common. Now the reverse will
not back up at all and it is grinding. I think it might be from hitting a
curb...

Stub Axle Nut New Jetta by
Gilles
What is the size of the rear stub axle nut on a New Jetta? This is a 12
points nut. Is this the same as on the front? I do not speak about wheel
nuts.

rabbit ignition switch to toggle switch by
[email protected]
Hi,
The wiring between my ignition switch and starter solenoid is bad. Oh,
BTW, it is an 82 rabbit 1.7 CIS gasser pickup. I want to replace the
ignition switch with a toggle and push botton switch like an old
tractor. My big question is how many poles will I need in the toggle
switch. I know...

JETTA 2001 1.8T replacing dipstick holder by
JJ Braunius
Going to a moron mechanic for oil changes has its disadvantages. I
recently discovered that the guy that has been changing my oil has
broken the dipstick and dipstick holder (both plastic) by forcing them
hard against each other.
Well, first shame to VW for using a stupid soft plastic for that...

Per some ideas that I received from some of you, I am now at the point
where I am going to convert my 1988 Golf automatic transmission to a
5-speed manual transmission. I called a salvage yard to find a manual
tranny, but was posed with the question.....which type to buy? The
salvage yard said...

87 jetta horn & backup lights U/S by
dwood
My daughter just bought an 87 jetta. The horn and back up lights don't
work. I think they may both be on the same circuit. All the fuses are
good. I think it may be a relay. If so, where is it located. It's German
made and I can't find anything specific in a Haynes or Chilton manual.

help: jetta running rich, failed emissions... by
BillA
I could use some help. Our 1994 Jetta III GL just failed the CA
emissions test horribly. I'd brought the car to a shop prior to
the test because my engine light was on -- the engine codes were
00525 & 00537. The mechanic said our O2 sensor which was
recently replaced is fine and just...

Fuel "reserve" in A2 jetta by
jtaylor
The manual for my 92 diesel jetta says the tank has a 1.7 gal "reserve" -
but there does not seem to be a warning light.
Have I just not got the tank level down far enough?
Or is the "reserve" indicated by the red area on the guage?

04 GTI Climate control panel. by
Don Mac Phee
This is the manual dial setup.
1) How do I disassemble it?
2) How many LED's are in there?
Min no longer lights up, and I'm not sure If I want to chase it into the
dealership to be fixed; or do it myself.
