The winter / summer vehicle question again. by
[email protected]
Someone posted they wanted a winter and a summer vehicle, keeping one
off the road in storage on 6 month intervals. Can you really carry only

have tags on it, but if you are in a state that you renew your
registration every two...

Parts falling out from under dashboard - Black-box by
Jay Pique
So a little black-box with a circuit board inside fell onto the floor
today. It appears to have been duct-taped up under the dash, but
wasn't connected to the plug-in wire thingy leading to god knows
where.
Any thoughts or suggestions on what I should do with it? What's...

01 TJ wheels locked up at 65 MPH by
fray
On Tuesday I brought my Jeep (01 Sahara) in for service. Standard
stuff, change the transfer case fluid, check the breaks, oil change,
and adjust the 4x4 lever. (Previously if you pulled back to the 4x4
high location it would be in neutral.. you had to be in the middle of
the position to be in...

Shaking TJ by
Brian
A friend has a TJ. It's a 97 4.0 with 124,000 miles.
At high speeds if you give it alot of gas it won't shake but when you let
off the gas it will start to shake via front end.
Around 35 to 40 it will shake under normal/light acceleration.
Does anyone have any ideas what this could be? Any ideas...

John
Hello,
I have a 1976 CJ7 Levi edition Jeep with the 304 V8 engine. It is in
need of a overhall. The body needs to be totally sand blasted and
repainted and I want to replace the engine. I am thinking of putting a
remanufactured one in. The one I have uses 1 qt. every other tank

D60 in an XJ by
Carl Saiyed
A friend of mine has a 1980 Dodge Ramcharger with a bad transmission. It has
a D60 rear, and a D44 front. Limited-slip in the rear, manual hubs up front.
Is it reasonable to have these shortened to be installed on my 89 Cherokee
after my next lift? (probably 6+" in the works).
Thanks,
Carl

I replaced the speed sensor, I no longer get a code 15 for No
speed/distance sensor signal, however, I still don't have a output to
my speedometer and I still stall when I'm in neutral while slowing
down.
The only codes I get back are a 12 and a 55.
I heard the term "indexing" the sensor... some...

Anybody run a header on the 2.5l 4cyl? by

Does anyone run or have you run in the past, a header on your 4 cylinder? I have a YJ with the infamous cracked exhaust manifold and I am debating between welding the crack to save some cash or just replacing the whole damned thing with one of those nice stainless Banks headers. Either way it has...
