Help 89 XJ Fuel Filter by
Blabber
Hi:
I took my 89 Cherokee LTD (inline 6, 2 door) into the shop today because of
a fuel leak. Apparently the fuel filter is leaking and needs to be
replaced. I was quoted $260 just for the filer (not including labor).
Seems expensive to me as I see filter kits on line for as low as 8 bucks....

It's about time for me to do my first brake job on Muky, and looking
at NAPA Online it looks like they carry 4 different grades of brake
pads: (in order from least to most expensive) Tru-Stop, Safety Stop,
AE, and AE Severe Duty Metallic. Anybody have a recommendation, or any
reason why not to go...

Unable to change the rear passenger wheel on my 2004 Jeep GrandCherokee by
Kasterborus
I noticed the tire on my jeep was flat this morning, so I got out the
jack and tried to change it.
When I jacked the car I noticed that the while the body was lifting,
the wheel was not. I'm no mechanic, but I've changed wheels before
(usually at night in the rain :-) ) and never had this...

The Best Car in World Today by

The Best Car in World Today
Trully the best and fastest sedan I have ever owned. Any sedan in the
mid 50s that can get from 0-60 in 5.5 seconds in my book is far above
average. My 535 handles extremely well and performs every bit as well
as advertised. I highly recommend this car to any one. I am...

Rubicon express 2" lift w/ mono shocks by
Don Hamilton[_1_]
What are the chances of vibration problems with the 2" lift on a 05 Rubicon
Unlimited? I read that if they appear putting washers under the skid plate
will help. I do not understand how this could help? Any advice?
Thanks Don

Sporty and economic, with room for baby.
Pros: Good fuel economy, standard bluetooth, great luxury features,
good cabin room
Cons: CD doesn't read MP3s, trip info doesn't automatically show the
last display when starting up.
We're expecting our first child soon, and we needed a car that...

Floor Jack Recommendation? by
aetmos
Hi All,
I'm looking for a new floor jack to use primarily with my wife's '04
Jeep Grand Cherokee. I had a Craftsman SUV jack until it spewed oil
and collapsed the other day. I need to carry it fairly frequently, so
I need something fairly light, but also tall enough to lift a Jeep in
the air. Any...

1948 CJ2A steering column by

Is there a trick to removing this column? I have removed the column clamp
bolt by the gear box, unbolted it from the dash. It spins but will not come
loose. Is it attached somewhere else to the gear box?
