VW 1965 engine spluttering after switch off by
YMC[_2_]
Hi,
I've got a classic VW Beetle - vintage 1965. It has a 1641cc engine inside.
It was running smoothly until recently.
The problem is thus:
I go for a 15 minute to 1 hour drive - I stop - and turn off the key. The
engine still keeps on running - spluttering for about 30 seconds after this.

Fuel smell by
YMC
Hi,
I've got a 1641cc engine - pretty fast Beetle - but lately its starting to
smell of petrol esp. after I reved it hard.
I undid the fuel lines and screwed the clampers on again - and that seemed

But can I replace them with something better than the original rubber hose
and...

Volkswagen GTI creates own buzz
The personality of the GTI hasn't changed in more than a decade of
running America's back roads. It continues to be one of the most value
laden, fun to drive and capable sporty coupes on the market.

VM 1303 5 ignition sequence and cabling by
[email protected]
Hello, I'm trying to help my father fix my sisters old VW, a 1303
beetle.
However, we have no manuals, and we don't know which cylinder is which
on the motor. The proper ignition sequence is indicated on the engine
block, but we can't tell which cylinder is which on the engine, since
the few odd...

Virginia Restoration / Customization by
Xarquath
Hi,
I'm the proud owner of a '71 Super that I have neglected entirely too long,
and it doesn't look like I'll have time in the foreseeable future to be able
to do work on the car myself. That said, I'd like to find a reputable shop
that does restoration / customizations of the old VW's,...

I've had this '71 super beetle for long about 10 years now. It was
driveable for about 2 of those years, and I had a lot of fun with it. It's
been sitting for a LOOOONG time though and it's time I finished what I
started and get it turned into the car I planned to turn it into.
I tore into...

headliner installation by
x
Hello,
Can anyone give me some advice on installing a TMI headliner in a 69bug? I
have contacted Jbugs for a video but they don't answer my mail.
Are there useful sites on the internet concerning headliner installation?

Rear Engine Brace by
[email protected]
Just wanted to know your thoughts on installing a rear engine brace to
make up for worn out rear transmission mounts. I don't or I am not
ready to pull my engine yet and want to get rid of some slop in the
driveline. Or if you have any other ideas that would be awesome.
Thanks
