1984 GTI Rabbit Fuel Pressure Problem by
Tube Audio
Hello
I have a 1984 GTi Rabbit.

or more. What happens is that the car starts right away and then dies after
5 seconds or so. It will start right up again and then after a few seconds
die. If I start it with my foot...

83 rabbit low oil pressure problem by
Chris[_18_]
Hi-
Recently I had the oil chacked on my 83 rabbit because the oil light
would begin to flicker after about a half hour of driving. He said
the pressure was a bit low but it was an older car so that was to be
expected and to just add a thicker oil and drive it. (The car is a gas
fuel injected...

1987 Cabby keeps tossing lower belt! Help! by
IWONABUG
My sons 1987 Cabriolet keeps losing the lower belt; the one that drives the
P.S. pump and water pump. I've checked the alignment of the pulleys, and
have swapped out all the pulleys (crank, W.P. and P.S. pump) with good
condition spares that I had. I've even replaced the water pump itself...

Andy
I have a '96 golf 2.0 GTI in need of shocks. I wanted to know if anyone
out there has experience on the replacement of springs and shocks for an
upgrade in handling with little or no change in ride height?
Opinions on keeping original springs?
Opinions on the Touring bilsteins?
What other parts...

City Golf/Jetta - can the radio be moved up? by
WT
I ordered a City Golf (only available here in Canada) a couple of months
ago, and my built-to-order car is supposed to arrive mid-July. In the
meantime, a question for anyone owning a City Golf or City Jetta: As shown
in photos, the radio/CD-player is mounted just over the ventilation
controls,...

different heads on12v vr6's? by
starburst
Hi folks -
Some months ago I seized the cam on my 96 passat vr6 12v (AAA engine)
(auto), causing the sprocket to shred the woodruff key. The buildup of
sludge in the engine, and the possibility of metal shavings through it,
made me decide to replace the engine with one from a junkyard. I got a...

2000 Jetta door / lock issue by
[email protected]
I've got an issue with my 2k Jetta. I'm driving along, and all of a
sudden the dome light comes on, and it starts dinging like I've left
the key in the ignition. If I unlock the doors, or open and slam the
drivers door, it calms down. Any ideas?
