jjs
It's Thanksgiving II here today. Family is too large for our small place so
we do it in shifts. :)
Anywho, more lights are on and a section of the house circuit went out. No
fuses were blown. Yes, I triple-checked, changed, reseated. No good. Then I
pulled the big 'bar' fuse box (two big ass...

Split window Single Cab by
Ed B
I've found a Split window single cab for sale, looks like late 60's.
Surface rust and minor body work will be required, but it is without engine
or title. The guy wants $1k for this. My question to the group is does
anyone know what this vehicle is worth? and is it worthwhile enough to pick
one up...

I question about the a leaky lifter cover by
Chuck Townsley
On my 1600cc engine, the left side valve lifter cover has leaked
twice. Once when I first bought the Van. Then after I replaced the
gasket it leaked again. Both times the bottom side of the cover the
gasket blew inward towards the lifters and oil comes pouring out.
The second time, not so much...

Got one of those bargain bin CDs over the weekend with some songs that I had

remember some of these long forgotten songs on the CD.

Seat Belt Latch Scratches Door?!?! by
Mel P.
Is there something I can do to make sure the belt latch is clear of the
door? Even though it retracts, sometimes it gets caught between the top of
the seat and the door. Of course the metal part faces out scratching the
door.

What's the value: 1977 Bus with large sliding sunroof, Westphalia equip. by
jbclem
I'm thinking of selling my 1977 Bus and would like to get an idea of it's value. It has
the large metal sliding sunroof and I bought Westphalia insides from a camper and
installed them (bed, cabinets, sink stove). The sink and stove are not hooked up
electrically but the transformer is in...

Window winders. by
tricky
Hello all
I have a 68 bay bus. Some times when I wind the window down the glass
stays put and the winder comes down on its own.
Should the glass be 'glued' to the winder mechanism or should it just be
a tight fit ?
Cheers
Rich
