[email protected]
Everyday, Americans cannot afford their car payments. As a result,
their new and almost new cars are seized and sold in a hurry because
the storing costs are very expensive for the amount of cars they have.
They need to get rid of these cars as fast as possible and they are
willing to take almost...

Clanking Sound Came Back by
John[_6_]
Hi all:
Last year I posted about the mysterious "Clanking" sound coming from
the engine after driving in hot weather. Took it to the trans people
that rebuilt it, after a few "we don't hear no sounds?" I proved to
them that it was happening (drove around for half an hour in hot
weather). They said...

D30 Fluid leak by
ufatbastehd[_2_]
This spring I bought a D30 from a whow wrecked his YJ.
The axle had new ball joints, brakes and steering and had been
regeared to 4.10
20,000 mi prior to my getting it.
It's been leaking what I think is gear oil from the passenger side
onto the "ear" just outside the axle tube.

I Went to sell my long loved jeep today and seemed to have it in the
bag, that is until i went to throw it in 4 wheel. The jeep clunks
when i try to engage in 4 wheel or 4 low. The noise seems to come
from the transfer case. Just looking for a ballpark idea of what i

Giskard Reventlov
Hello Everybody,
I'm looking to purchase my first Jeep Wrangler.
Don't want to get anything too fancy, or too tricked up. My wife and I

Instrument Lights Not Working by
[email protected]
2004 Rubicon
My instrument cluster lights are not working and the radio does not
dim when the headlights are on. The dimmer switch does not have any
effect other than turning on the dome light. Any suggestions? The
fuse (#10) is good.
Thanks in advance!

Climate control panel overheating by
Jim[_30_]
I've searched the group and can't find a thread for this particular
problem.
I have a 1991 Cherokee Lorado. Recently, the heater blower switch
heated up and melted the plastic wire loom. The switch got so hot
that the plastic parts inside the switch melted and fused. I also
noticed that one of...

Ping DougW Gasket under the 4.0 ZJ throttle body? by
Lon
Is there a gasket under the throttle body that I would want to go buy
before taking the thing off for cleaning? The dealer being a few miles
away and the temperature in the 90's and all.
Or does it just tighten down to fit?
