distributor problem again by
Steven Rogers
Once again my distributor problem is back. I seem to accelerate ok but
steady speed driving and the engine coughs and sputters. Disconnecting
the vacuum line to the distributor and the engine runs much better
(although not perfect... slight loss is power and acceleration). Does
anyone have a...

Carby bearings by
John[_28_]
I,ve noticed that now I have to fairly regularly work a bit of oil into the
choke pivots or the chokes seize up on my T3. About every 6 months, not a
big deal. Just get some light oil on pivot near where it enters body of
carby and wriggle things for a few minutes. Never happened when I used...

Almost related: a portable radio by
Tuomas
This is the way hobbies get out of hand: ;)
I was delighted to find a gray Blaupunkt Lido (made in 62/63) for the grey
bus as it has radio cover plate recycled for windshield washer button and I
didn't want to change that. So a portable radio and this one fits to style...

76 Bay steering box seal by
Bluedc[_2_]
Hi,
my steering box is leaking.
I have read that you can replace the seals but I can't find anywhere
to buy one - does anyone know where I can get one. I am in the UK but
will buy from anywhere.
It would also be good to hear from anyone who has replaced their own
seal.

car donation? by
Sam[_10_]
Does anyone have a good idea of where in the San Francisco Bay Area I
could donate my 1965 Ghia? It needs some body and cosmetic work, but
is a great daily driver. I would love it to go to a good home, so I
was considering donating it to a tech school that could use it as a
practice car. I...

Waiting for spring. by
Foo Fighter
the top is a little torn on the Cabriolet. so I leave it down and just
wait and wait for a sunny day. even if it is a fairly nice day I take
it out. Let people think old ACVW's have great heaters.
I even left the wiper blades off. I don't like the way they look.
I do want another 50 years out of...

What p,s me off by
John[_28_]
Amongst other things just got a couple of clips for the sun visors of my T3.
The whinge is if a manufacturer has gone to the trouble of making a mould
for an item etc how much extra work would there be to add two "non return"
wedges as on the original instead of one. As it is they tend to not...

Won't Start by
FC Bill
Looking for ideas. I removed my engine from my 69 bus and following
the instillation I find that the motor won't start, the starter won't
even turn over. I check the connections on the starter and all are
fine and test out well.l I did replace the starter however following
this issue I put the...

A weekend engine rebuild success by
David Gravereaux
new heads and cylinder set freshened the motor real nice. It was worth
the whole weekend and $591 in new parts to make it run on all four again.
Now out to do a final valve adjust before going to work.

digital ballasts by
samaden
Another great feature of digital ballasts is the ability to run both
MH and HPS bulbs on the same ballast without having to flip a switch
(it should be noted that not all digital ballasts on the market are
programmed (or optimized) to do this properly, Eclipse LED digital
ballasts are). Research...
