TJ axle nut size by
snowboardripper
What is the size of the axle nut for a 2002 TJ? I assume it is 36mm
but am not sure. After my friend snapped the u-joint I would like to
carry the tools to remove the parts on the trail.

RE-GEARING TO EITHER 3.73 OR 4.11 (repeat -- sorry) by
Tracie
I have posted this once today, but for some reason it did not post.
If anyone finds it, sorry for the duplicate post.
Anyhoo, I definitely want to re-gear but I am not sure if the 3.73 or
the 4.11 ratio would be better for me. I currently have 31" BFG All
Terrain T/A KOs, but will definitely...

Looking for early/mid 80's CJ auto trans ... by
[email protected]
For a variety of reasons, I'm looking for a stock (factory) early /
mid 80's auto trans for a CJ7 - in other words -- a TF999 -- to swap
into my 83 CJ7, replacing the T176.
It'll be going behind the 258 and front of the D300 which I understand
will NOT require any adapaters (AA seems to thikn...

Winch mounting plate layout - Anyone have one? by
Kate
What a happy day.
My Ex husband and his wife came to visit a few weeks ago. They took our
littlest Jeeper home for three weeks and he just brought him home last
night.
While they were here he told me that he had a Warn winch he would give me
for my Jeep. What a guy!
Last night, the winch came...

Jeep GC vibrates when idle by
Mash
Alright,
No mechanic am I (but I'd like to learn)...
I've got a 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 4.0L 6 cylinder engine, with about
128K miles on it.
It drives just fine, but if I idle, in Drive, with my foot on the
brake, the whole jeep (and everyone inside)vibrates. If I have it in
Park it doesn't...

I live in northern, Il. My employer has the vehicle for sale, I am
trying to help him. Over all the Jeep is in fine shape. Runs and
drives well. If interested, reply to this message. I will be taking
some pics of it on Monday.
Thanks,
Greg

Koenig winch by
Randy
I've got a Koenig winch ???????? don't know what the model or specs
are on it. The only numbers I can find on it are; 524 and 49064. I
believe this unit would be classified as a PTO winch since it
currently driven by a hydraulic motor (oilfield application). I'm
wondering if anyone has a book on...

I have a new "06 Jeep Wrangler X" (Great Jeep!) with a grand total of
6192 miles.
When I drive about 60 mph on the freeway, the steering wheel wants to
"shimmy", i.e. turn to the left, then to the right and vice versa. I
have to hang tightly on this steering wheel or slow down to about...
