jeramy
I have a 69 grande equiped with the old loosy-goosy steering. I'm
interested in upgrading to a power rack and pinion setup. I know that
there are many bolt-in kits available for this, but they all seem
pretty pricey and furthermore, I would like to try my hand at
fabricating one from a unit...

1965 Mustang engine problem by
[email protected]
Hi:
I've got a 1965 Mustang - 289 2v carb - all rebuilt, but it's been
sitting for many years - about 10, perhaps (withough starting or
running at all). After cleaning the gunk from the carb and the gas
tank, replacing the fuel pump, plugs, points, condenser, plug wires...
I have a problem when...

GT500 & Corvette Duke It Out! by
[email protected]
Check out the new Car & Driver.
The new Shelby GT500 ran a disappointing 12.9 @ 112 mph. Not really
any faster than the previous 4.6 Terminator Cobra. (Hopefully we don't
have another '99 Cobra fiasco happening.)
The Corvette ran 12.8 @ 113 / 0-60

Rev Limiter? by
Jay Honeck
Is there a rev limiter on my 6-cylinder 2000 Mustang?
When revving the engine, it seems to artificially stumble right around 4000
RPM, and won't rev any higher. Since redline is quite a bit higher (5000?
I'm working from memory here) there seems to be some sort of a limiter at
work.
Assuming...

8.8 disassembly by
William
If one only needed to change one singe alxe, what would be the
cheapest easiest procedure for swapping them?
My son decided to steal my wifes car, slamming into something and
shattering the rim, rotor, and bending the rim-mounting flange. I have
ordered the correct axle but have never been inside...
