Bullseye Brake Lamp by Dave Best
I have a 98 Cherokee sport that the "bulls eye" brake light is out. It's not the bulb, or the connectors. The interior roof lights, the rear window defroster work. They are also contained in that wire harness, that's starts in back of the panel behind the spare tire, and goes up under the moldings....

Clover Patch "Window Roll" problem... by [email protected]
Hi all, Just got a nice Xmas gift, the legendary Window Roll! Great idea, one showstopper: Where did Clover Patch find these POS Duraflex-wannabe buckles? These things will not grab the tie-down strap AT ALL. I inserted a thicker strap into the buckle and it still allowed the strap to slide...

Irregular idle '89 Pioneer by Richard
I have an '89 4.0 Cherokee Pioneer. I have been having an idle problem for some time. Sometimes, first thing in the morning, or after work on my way home, when I start it, it will idle way up at 2500 rpm for a while until I shut it down and try again. Sometimes (usually in the summer) parked in...

Hi All, Finally the weather gave me enough break to do the body lift and motor mount lift. Body lift went okay (except for the front grill bumpstop extensions which required taking light bezels off - part not included in the instructions). Motor mount lift on a 4.0L with air-con is a big...

96 Cherokee--Part-time? Full-time? by cl
Hi, all... I've had 4WD drive vehicles before, but they've all been equipped with manual hubs, so I hope you'll pardon my ignorance on what is probably a very simple topic. I just bought a 1996 Cherokee, the first I've ever owned. It's got an auto tranny (so my girlfriend can drive it), the...
