Crane XR-i Points to electronic ignition. Anyone done this one before??? by
Blue Mesteno
I just bought one and am not sure about installation. I understand it's just 2 wires, but in the specs, it talks about a 1.65L ballast resistor. WTF!?!?! This is going on a '69 with a 351W. Ford didn't use ballast resistors did they? I thought they used the pink resistor wire. I'm not even sure my...

Crappy shifting by
[email protected]
The reverse gear in my mustang has been acting up lately. It has
Richmond gears about a year old and the transmission was rebuilt about
a year ago also. Sometimes when I try to put the shifter in reverse it
wont let me until a couple tries later, or it will make a grinding
noise. It only happens...

Crazy Electrical Problems in 1990 5.0 LX by
cdm331
OK, I am having crazy electrical issues in my 1990 LX. I am sure
everyone is familiar with the familiar whine of the fuel pump in these
cars pressurizing. Well, when I have the key turned to accessory (just
before start), the fuel pump constantly pressurizes, even while
attempting to start it...

Creaking clutch quadrant by
[email protected]
Ok, I don't think it's the quadrant itself.. but when I press on the
clutch pedal... if I don't STOMP on it, it makes a "creaking" sound &
is fairly difficult to depress. Last time this happened my clutch cable
snapped. I checked for fraying... none.
Car is a 1998 Ford Mustang GT
Steeda adjustable...

Is there something that will put a thread on them so I can put on a nut and

Custom Paint? by
Shellrocks
Any one know where to get a good custom paint job for my new 05
Mustang? I'm looking for a company kinda like West Coast Customs but
only in the Carolina's or Virginia. My GT is just too plain. Need
something to spice it up.

Custom tune and Ford dealer maintenance by
[email protected]
For my '07 GT, I plan on putting in 3.73 rear gears, a cold air kit
and a custom tune by Xcal2. This is the first mod I've ever done
(actually I'm gonna have my hot rod shop do the work). I usually have
my cars dealer serviced. Does anyone have advice on how I should deal
with the dealer? Should I...
