Dana 30 vent tube loose by
[email protected]
I just discovered the diff vent tube is loose where it connects to the
housing. This is a Dana 30 on an '85 CJ-7. This is the fitting that
connects directly to the diff housing. The rubber hose connects to the
other end. It's loose in the hole. I don't know if it's just pressed in
or sealed in some...

'91' XJ: Rear diff binding or is the trac-loc? by
Doug
I don't think my previous post made it so I'm bumping this post. I have
the following symptoms w/a 91 XJ (w/4WD) Laredo:
On sharp left or right turns I can hear some noise from the rear axle (which
the Chrysler/Jeep-Eagle stealership mechanics supposedly checked less than
three years ago). It's as...

OT-Gas and Hybirds Provoking Thoughts by
HarryS
More and more people are now on the Hybrid band wagon especially now when
gas is high. The tree huggers like them and say they are good for the
environment. The commuters like them for a tax break and some states allow
them in the HOV lane with a single passenger. People are really saving...

TJ Bright Lights Not Working.... by
[email protected]
Anybody know what may cause my 1997 TJ's bright beams to quit working?
Regular beams are fine. When you turn the brights on, the fog lights
and the headlights just turn off. Any idea's? I'm stumped.

'05 TJ seat height by
mabar
Are the seats on the '05 TJ's a little higher than the seats on the '03's
and '04's, or is it just my imagination?
Nathan, are your '05 TJ seats higher than on your old TJ?

97 TJ passenger seat by
HG97TJ
I'm back in the Jeep club after a 4 year absence. I bought a '97 TJ
Sport over the weekend. Looking forward to my first Jeep wave.
Just a quick question:
As far as the passenger seat goes, Isn't the entire base/seat supposed
to tip forward to gain access to the back seat? The seat...

O.T. Standards by
FrankW
Thought I'd share this with you all :-)
A Horse's Ass IS Important
- Because that's the way they built railroads in England, and English
expatriates built the U.S. Railroads. Why did the English build them
like that?

Drive Train Damaged $$$$$ ?? by
popeyeball
Hey guys looks like I've made a mess of things. I thought my rear
brakes were squealing a bit so I waited a while to get them looked at.
Too much snow and cold (and a full garage) were not conducive for my
doing the work. For many years I have taken all of my vehicles to the
quarter car wash to...
