Anti-Freeze Odor Mystery by
[email protected]
I am smelling the pungent odor of Anti-Freeze in the cabin of my 1984
Jeep Grand Wagoneer.
My first thought was the heater core. However, there is no leaking
into the footwell on the right-hand side, and no apparent leaking from
the heater core whatsoever. The heater works fine; there is no...

My 73 Jeep CJ5 by
[email protected]
Well I am now understanding why people love Jeeps so much. I bought a
73 Jeep cj5 with the 304 V8 about 6 months ago and I love it to death!
People say thats its a poor choice for every day transportation but I
dont want to spend my money on another vehicle. I'd much rather put my
hard earned cash...

Body work question. by
jerryg
Greetings. I bought an 86 Cherokee with fairly rusted out floor pans.
My question is, if I buy replacement pans, which I assume go from
firewall to back seat, and transmission tunnel to rocker panel, do
they get riveted in or welded? And I have not yet removed the front
seats. Are they bolted to...

Where to get tranny line clip? by
ajcrm125
I have a 85 Jeep Grand Cherokee. My tranny line is leaking at the
joint by the cooler which leads me to believe I need a new plastic
clip.
The clip looks like this:

Now I can find this clip in my local auto parts store but it's shown
as a fuel line part. I bought...

WhooHoo! by
Stupendous Man
Going to San Diego in a few weeks to drive home a free tow vehicle, a 36
foot motorhome with a 454 Chevy. It failed a California smog and got tagged
as a Gross Polluter, but the engine is fairly fresh and it's only a machine,
so it can be fixed. It is a family transfer, and i live in a "sale...

My absense... by
Outatime
Just a quick note to explain my absense. I met a girl who drives an '02
Grand Cherokee, and we've become the best of friends. Had it not been
for our mutual interest in Jeeps, it may not have happened. We're off
to the Sierra's this weekend to play in the snow in the TJL. (She's
nervous...

Mixture Solenoid Delema- Rochester E2SE on '81 CJ5 by
MStevens003
I'm rebuilding the carb on the '81 exArmy CJ5. It's the Rochester E2SE and
my vacuum test show the mixture control solenoid is caput. My delema is that
I can not find this part under $85 and as there might be other problems when
the rebuild is finished (I'm no expert here I might adjust the carb...
