2012 S4 by Steve Thompson
Anyone have any information concerning what changes are made to the US-spec 2012 S4? I've read all sorts from no changes at all to a V8 engine option. I'm thinking of getting an S4 and need to know if it's worth waiting for the 2012 rather than getting a deal on a 2011. TIA, Steve

Studdable vs studded or how-do-we-cope-in-minnessotta by AD[_2_]
I've noticed none of the tires offered on tirerack are factory studded. Is that tirerack specific or you could not get factory studded tires in the US of A? A ploy to keep hakkapeliitta 7 out of the US is suspected :)

2003 A4 1.8T avant quattro: to hitch or not to hitch: that is the question by AD[_2_]
Hi there, I have specifically shyed away from A6 2.7T and sport package on A4 to have some meaningful road clearance to navigate snowpiles around here. Now I read this tread: http://forums.audiworld.com/showthread.php?t=2790428 and I've got to ask: how much do I give up with a hitch?

16" rims: barring 215/55-16 would 225/50R16 or 205/55R16 work better? by Body Roll
winter is almost over here and I'm pondering summer tire choices for the upcoming 2003 A4 us spec 1.8T wagon (manual) there's no 215/55R16 Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec and i'm not willing to go to 17" just to get that particular ti 17" tires are more expensive and suspension damage potential on...

Audi body design errors by laurentien
Dear folks, yesterday I took my very reliable Audi 80 for some service at the Audi dealer an did try the A5 and A7 five door cars. Altough these cars look very nice and the interior trim is as good as it gets with even an ergonomic control panel (at last), those two cars are now plagued by body...

Got a chance to test drive 2003 A4 (1.8T quattro) and 2001 A6 (V8 by AD[_2_]
I was surprised to find that A4 and A6 are worlds apart. I thought A6 is a bigger A4 but in fact it;s a smaller A8 I guess. (Never driven an A8 and have no need for one). A4 is nimble and A6 does it's best to hide it's heft but it shows a bit. Still, a far cry from a boat I have erroneously...

choices, choices, choices: manual vs automatic in 2003 A6 by AD[_2_]
I typically get a manual tranny since where I live roads are not terribly congested most of the time (yet). How well does the stick shifts on 2003 A6 (quattro)? Is the engagement crisp and precise or there is any rubbery detached feeling to it? Is it 5 or 6sp? What does automatic have going for it...

are there rear subframe differences US vs euro in 2003 A6 quattro? by AD[_2_]
Will US modular hitch fit euro A6 rear subframe (circa model year 2003)? The retarded euro hitches have nonremovable towing ball and wont' accept a bike rack. I'm panning to get a 2003 with 6 pot 2.4 breathing unassisted by turbo (living in the lowlands: around 6000ft elevation) Also are...

Does anyone have some info on how to either remove the CD player or how to remove a jammed CD. Most of the info are for older A4's. It looks like you need CD keys to pull the unit. Thanks
