Turn signal switch problems in '97 Cobra... by JS
Anyone know where to get ahold of a turn signal switch (multi-funciton switch) for a '97 Cobra? I believe the switch is the same as the GT's switch would be. Mine's dying a slow and painful death (RH turn signal functions about 30% of the time) and I'd like to pull it before I have no headlights...

distributor rebuild question by gcroix
I took my distributor apart, all looks good except for the springs/weights. One of the springs returns to the original shape after I release it, the other doesn't. My question is, are they the same strength? And, where can I get them...would my local parts place have them? Thanks in advance. R...

2005 Ford Mustang - UGLY by disneyfan.nyc
I have a 99, 35th anniversary, v6 coupe. I wouldn't trade it either. I first saw the new 05s up close at the New York auto show a few weeks ago. I looked at these cars and turned to the rep and had ask if they were actual production models. They look like unfinished concept cars to me. Ahgnis...

Twin Screw rocks! by Dan
Yeah, so, the blower came in last Thursday and I installed it over the weekend :). Kenne Bell Blowzilla 2200, Kenne Bell Boost-a-Pump, and a Diablo Motorsport MAFia all went on. The installation went fine with no serious hiccups and just a few moments of drama. The boost bypass vaccuum line was a...

Swoop & squat avoided by ironrod
Coming home tonight, had some psycho bitch come flying out of her apartment parking lot without stopping. Then gets over three lanes, right in front of me, jams on her brakes to make a U turn at a cross over then heads the other way. It's obvious that the other driver was trying to induce an...

Just having fun with a new photo upload feature on vintage-mustang.com. Here's two pix of my kids' '65, one taken in January when the digicam was brand new and one taken today as I'm trying to figure out why the clutch decided to go...

Need a vinyl/striping shop in MD.. suggestions? by japhar81
Like the title says, I want to get a pair of white rally stripes put on my '05. Dealer says Ford wont do it OEM, and their aftermarket cost is $450, which is obtuse. Anyone know of a good place to get these put on? (No desire to sit there and do it myself) Just hopin someones got a recommendation..

What's the deal about the AOD transmission? by Mauricio Tavares
In my slow but ongoing quest to put my 90LX alive, last weekend I bought an AOD tranny. I mentioned some people about my acquisition and everyone told me the AOD is the worst thing that ever came out of Ford. Why is it so maligned? -- Mauricio raub-kudria-com (if you...

Hello and Just bought an '03 by Carl
Hi, all... I just bought my third Mustang, a 2003 with the 3.8 V6 and slushbox. The other two were a '71 and a '79 Turbo Cobra; after the Cobra, I swore I'd never own another Ford product, much less a Mustang, but I finally gave in after 15 years. I plan to do a few minor mods, like a K & N air...

What to buy? by Desert Lurker
05 GT or 04 Mach1? The Mach1 is my favorite of any mustang '69 -'04 (looks better than a cobra to me, must be the scoop) But I relly like the 05 as well. I see where I can get an aftermarket shaker scoop if I tired of a flat hood. Here in Califonia the Mach1 is around 24 and I can get a premium...
