'90 auto won't start by
Pappy
My buddys '90 auto suddenly won't start. The battery tested fine. When you
try to start it, there is a clicking noise under the dash, but the starter
doesn't make a sound.
I've considered these options, and he is verifying them tomorrow:
o The cutoff switch to make sure it's in "Park" is not...

'90 ZR1 by
Tom Crabtree
Howdy!
Have the opportunity to pick a (extremely) low miles '90 ZR1 in like new
condition.
Car has never been wrecked and has always been in climate controlled
storage. It's been routinely serviced and extremely well cared for.
Are there any issues that I should be aware of before I sign the...

'91 C4 Engine Stuff by
L.W.A.
Hello fellow Corvette freaks. I have a 1991 coupe with 230,000 miles on it.
It has been a wonderful and reliable car. I am going to repleace the engine
and would like to get some input from anyone here that feel like giving it.
I would like to maintain the stock-look of TPI, but I want more HP. I...

'91 L98 6-Speed Running Rich by
Koolman365
I have a '91 L98 w/ 84k that I recently changed the ignition module,
cap, rotor, wires, plugs, with no engine codes and the thing is still
running very rich.. can smell it. It has also recently stalled a few
times on me and I cannot start it until I let it sit for a few minutes,
almost like it's...

'91 L98 Heads or Long Block? by
Koolman365
Blew one of the head gaskets on my '91 L98 w/ 84k on it... also looks
like some anti-freeze got into the oil... and the 7th cylinder looks
much cleaner than all of the other ones, which is where the seal blew.
Since the head on the driver's side is no longer in good condition and
it would take a...

'93 brakes? by
CardsFan
Drove the car for some time today on light errands with a lot of stop and
go. Eventually I started getting a repetitive noise that I thought was
driveline related, but when I put it in neutral it continued. When I barely
tapped the brake pedal the noise instantly stopped.
Ideas?

'93 coupe - "Service ASR" by
CardsFan
This evening while cruising at a constant 40 mph the car suddenly bucked a
bit and the "Service Engine Soon" light came on in the DIC. A quarter-mile
or less later that went out and the "Service ASR" light came on and stayed
on. For the heck of it I punched the ASR button to turn it off. ...

'93 PKE problems by
MW
Beginning of the season and the PKE doesn't work. No problem, I've
programmed it before... (oh! Did I say NO problem?)
Went through the steps to the point where the PASSIVE KEYLESS ENTRY light
*should* come on and stay on ... It doesn't.
I'm in fear of a bad PKE circuit in the dash. Any sage...

'94 AC Diverter & Comp Cycles by
Ric Seyler[_2_]
Well broke out the ole girl a couple weeks ago..
Had to put in a new battery, old one wouldn't take a charge.
(it was several years old)
First day on the road the AC (Auto Option Equipped)
would blow out of the defrost vents, with very very little
coming out of the dash vents. Seemed cool temp...

'94 Corvette keeps killing its battery by
[email protected]
Standard 'vette convertible. Only 40k miles and nothing too special in
terms of options. But, I've just installed the fourth battery in four
years. Each spring the battery is completely dead though I try to
start the car once or twice a month during the winter. It's garage
kept, dry, and rarely...

'94 Headlight gear bushings (R&R assembly or just motor) by
RicSeyler
Anyone done the '94-up Headlight motor bushing upgrade?
I was just wondering from someone who has already done it
whether you R&R'd the whole assembly or just the motor?
One side has finally given up the ghost, the "gel" in the original must
be totally deteriorated. But they have been cycling...

'94 LT1 runs rough when hot by
BigAl
My '94 LT1 runs smooth for the first 50 miles until engine temp gets
hot. When it is hot and I am in stop and go traffic with the A/C on,
engine surges and sometimes runs rough. At that point, engine
hesitates, surges and pings when accelerating. Any ideas what is
causing this?
No codes showing...

'95 cranks over, but doesn't start by

I encountered a problem a month ago and have not been able to start my

no flashing security light, all other power works, but the car will
not start and is not getting spark. I suspect my security system and
believe it is not...

'96 acrylic top splitting by
Kevin Livengood
I have a 96 vette with a acrylic top that has split in the middle twice in
the last year. I have been told that it is a body flexing problem, cheap
replacement top, incorrect installation....ect. any thoughts on this would
be appreciated as I am tired of replacing them.
Thanks
