I was given a 78 VW bus. It comes stock with a 2.0L FI engine. Mine however, did NOT come with the FI system. I suppose the PO installed a Holley 2 barrel carb. carb misting by 914
I have dual weber 40IDFs that are misting fuel up thru the top of the carbs. It is coming out the jet or nozzle in the center of the throut and splashing up. I have my fuel pres reg set to 2lbs so I don't think pressure is a problem.

I just bought a '71 coupe and the cable/latch mechanism was missing for the gas door . I had a spare from a '70 and it came up short. Could they really have changed the length of the handle pull cable ???? -- when you believe the only tool you have is a hammer. All problems look like nails.
