Bellcrank plastic bushings by
[email protected]
Hi all,
I'm doing a T-4/5 to T-176 upgrade on my '82 Scrambler, and I noticed
that the bellcrank plastic bushings are shattered again. I replaced
them less than a year ago, and I've done no serious off-roading, just
some very bumpy mountain roads. I've got new polyurethane bushings
all round...

Belt squeak? by
DrMega
Hello group and thanks in advance for any help. This is more of a
general automotive question but I figured you folks would be the ones
to ask.
I have a '98 Wrangler and occasionally it makes a squeaking sound like
a belt or pulley is going bad. The volt meter also drops to nothing.
The serp. belt...

belt tension by
Mel P.[_2_]
I guess this is really a general question, not vehicle specific. But, I'm
asking in regards to my 96 Cherokee.
How do I check or know if the tension is correct on the serpentine belt? I
think I over-tighten it and end up wrecking the water pump bearings/pulley.
tia,
Mel P.

Oh, it did restart ... after sitting for an hour, so I double checked
everything ... except fuel rail pressure.
So I let...

Bent front axle yoke on a TJ by
swbell
Are there shops that can fix a bent axle yoke, or is a whole new axle
needed? The axle yoke is the fixed yoke that the steering knuckle mounts
on.
This is a 2003 Rubicon.

Best hitch for '01 XJ? by
matt borland
I want to add a hitch to my '01 XJ, more for the
accessories I can add that utilize the receiver than
for actual towing. At most I may end up towing a
small trailer for my motorcycle. Still I figured a
class 3 would be the way to go since it's the most
popular size.
Any brands you guys would...
