97 jeep GC abs failure by cal
My abs light recently came on and stays on. I tried everything I could do without the use of a scantool, I cleaned all connections and all the wheel sensors, checked fuses. No change. So i took it to a trusted local garage, and he told me that the abs control module is bad. I tried to remove...

Ajax is a superstar! by Kate[_8_]
Check this out! Yesterday I was looking for tires and found that MY Jeep is on the headers of Dick Cepek's website. I got all excited and told the folks in my club. I mean, who WOULDN'T be excited to find out that their Jeep was on a big site like that! Then, one of our club members posted this...

Manifold alignment stud fell out by Michael White
All, I've been tracking down a coolant leak on my '82 4.2L CJ-8 for the past few months and have finally found it (after replacing every other component first, of course): one of the studs used for aligning the manifolds fell out. There's a fine mist of coolant that's coming out of the hole where...

Front driveshaft length by MeMyselfandI
When it's up on a lift, and the front suspension is off the ground, the front driveshaft compresses to the point where it bottoms out and starts pressing against the transfercase. I don't recall if this happened before I added the lift, but it now has a 4.5" lift with replacement lower control...

Grand Cherokee Windshield Wiper BLANK SPOT????? by infiniteMPG
I have always had an issue with my '03 Grand Cherokee driver side windshield wiper that i attributed to the windshield washer jet not spraying at the lower part of the blade (towards the pivot end) not cleaning the windshield well. Had been planning on trying to adjust the spray on the jet but...

older cherokee headlamp replacements? by coffelt2
Older eyes, dark and rainy nights, the original "H6054" lamps just don't work as well as my 2004 (blush) Toyota Tacoma headlights. I have been Googling and read of "Euro" conversions to halide lamps with separate reflectors and bulbs (that fit in the "H6054" hole and electrical connector). ...

I have a 05 Rubicon that came with a soft top. Well that soft top has seen way better days. The last rain we got I must have had a half gallon of rain come into the tub. To be honest, I love the soft top for wheelin, you can hear better when you slip etc, but driving my box down the street at...

Quick disconnect sway bar links TJ by ULB
I am so sick of these RE Gen1 quick disconnects. I haven't looked at quick discos for quite some time since putting the 4.5" lift on, maybe 4 years ago. Who makes the best one now for under 200 bux? Thanks!

Fan (Clutch?) Failure by [email protected]
I replaced a failed viscous fan and the fan turned over easily and smoothly. However, because the fan clutch plate-to-water pump flange was too thick on the replacement part, the studs were too short to safely hold the nuts (previously reported). I removed the studs and replaced them with studs...

Problems after SYE install by MeMyselfandI
Had a Tom woods SYE / driveshaft kit installed. Now 4w high doesn't engage. 4w low does. I didn't verify if neutral was where it was supposed to be. Also, the dashboard indicator is intermittant at best. I'm hoping it's just the linkage needing adjustment, but could something be wrong...
