[email protected]
My 1997 GCL Orvis Edition w/ 62K miles abandoned me tonight.
Went to dinner and a movie and upon returning to the vehicle it would
not start. Prior to this the Jeep has shown NO signs of imminent
failure.
It spins over very easy. I found the ignition coil at the front of the
engine, removed the...

XJ doors won't open by
aGraham
I am looking to buy a '92 XJ for $800. The only problem is 3 of the 4
doors(all except the drivers) are stuck shut. The story is the guy only
drove it to work so the only door used was the drivers. I did manage to
play with the rear drivers door a bit and was able to get the lock
mechanism to...

that actually worked. I tightened all the hoses and I now operate okay
EXCEPT when I first start the temp gets all the way up-to @ 230-240 at
which point it drops...

TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS "Jeep Style"
'Twas the night before Christmas, And all through the trails,
Every Bronco was stranded, Their progress like snails.
They had no shovels, No rope and no winch,
No CB, no cell-phone, To get out of their pinch.
When out from a mud pit, There arose such...

Good for any holiday meal...
As you are feasting on a wonderful meal this holiday, imagine if you will, you are
only two inches tall traversing the Mini-Turkey Rubicon. As you winch yourself over
the Mashed potatoes, you eye up a deep gravy crossing, thankful for the new bendable

nelkhour
Hello,
New symptomp that is developping now that was not there before. When driving, the car seems to be starving for gas and acts like it is going to stop. First it was happening when I reached 60 miles per hour. Now it is happening all the time when I start to pull up.

Do the sealed beams on the Cherokees dim with age?
After 95,000 miles ,6 years I never had to replace one.
I will check to make sure they have a good ground.
Do they make brighter aftermaker bulbs?
Thanks

Radiator mount 86 CJ by
TwoTracker
Does anyone know the proper spacing for the radiator mount on an '86 CJ7 ?
I am reassembling the front end and I have my choice of hockey pucks, hard
plastic octagon support or mounting material that can be cut to length.
Thanks!

my jeep is not so rough by
Rusted
I always thought that my old jeep needed a little work, but seeing this one
and knowing that it is in ***Awesome Condition*** (the stars emphasized the
condition I am sure). I now know that my jeep is somewhere above "awesome"
and I probably don't need to clean it up any more to get top dollar...

2001 Grand cherokee heater fan by
[email protected]
The heater fan on my 2001 Grand Cherokee Limited stops working for a
few minutes if the fan speed is on high for more than just a few
minutes, and in the summer it is worse I can only run it on low speed
all the time.
