CJ5 stalling problem by
netmunky[_2_]
I have a 1983 CJ5, 258, about 120k miles, and weber 38cfm carb.
Nearly every day, the jeep stalls while driving. No sputtering, just
instant stall. Sometimes while driving, sometimes while idling.
Doesn't mater if the engine is warm or cold (I live in Arizona, so
it's never really cold), it can...

On-Topic Trans Question by

Differential Lubricant Recommendations? by
RCSnyder
I'm about to drain and refill the front and rear differentials on my '98 GC
5.9 and am open to recommendations.
Fuels economy is a factor in my choice. I do not tow with the vehicle and
most of my driving is interstate at 70+ mph.
The vehicle has 107,000 miles and I put on about 30,000/year...

CAN protocol? by
Abby Normal[_2_]
My '97 ZJ (grand cherokee) has a stamp in the engine bay that reads "Made in
Cananda". Does this mean that it has a CAN protocol regarding a OBDII
scanner? I'm looking to purchase a scanner, and don't want to buy the wrong
one.
Thanks

Interior Door Handles: '93 Cherokee XJ by
Mark E. Bye
The driver's side interior door handle on my '93 XJ is somewhat
suspect. Although it still does the job opening the door, it just
kind of hangs there... i.e. it doesn't "spring" back into place after
I pull on it to open the door. Now, the other night, as my wife is
exiting the passenger side,...

Looking for a way to install an AUX. Input into the Stock radio of a 97

Can it be done?
What type of toggle would I need?
Do I have to get the toggle from the dealership, or would a parts store
have it??
Can it only be...

Angelo
I have a 91 Wranger and need to replace the driver's side seat belt.
I've talked to the dealership and they want an arm and a leg for a

If so, which ones would you recommend?
Thanks.

Help - rear differential blew apart by

Hi all,
So I was merging onto the freeway last week when I hear this loud BANG
underneath my YJ.. pulled over to the side, and while I was able to
shift gears, the jeep wouldn't move. Thought the transmission had gone
out. Towed it to a mechanic who said I needed to replace the entire

Transfer case compatablitiy question - am I hosed? by
TJBoy
Hi Folks,
My 2001 TJ Auto's transfer case died a cruel and noisy death. I
went to Ebay and purchased an NP231 transfer case from a 2004 auto . I
put it in, it leaked! I pulled it and put a paper gasket where it
leaked (between the T-case and the transmission - and plugged the drain
hole).
So...

high location it would be in neutral.. you had to be in the middle of
the position to be in...
