A3 Hard Morning Starting, Rough Idle by
Mark Randol
Late 1995 Jetta GLS, 2.0 liter, manual tranny, 110kmiles. Engine check

Hey Everyone
I have another question I just acquired a 95' Jetta 2.0L 5spd manual.
I recently changed the battery and forgot about the security feature
for the stereo that locks it if the battery is disconnected for any
amount of time. I should have put in my little battery back up duh.

Flushing brake fluid by
Jem Berkes
Does it matter what kind of ambient humidity there is in the air at the
time the brake fluid is replaced? Presumably humidity and air in the fluid
are important when it comes to brakes. I was trying to figure out if I
should wait for dry air before having my fluid flushed.
I'm not doing it...

1996 Golf hesitation by
stve
Hey guys, I have a 1996 Golf, and I am having an issue with it when I
accelerate from rest. When I push down the gas, the car dosn’t do
anything and then 3 sec. later it lurches forward, screeches tires and
drives away normally. I don’t know to much about cars so I’m not sure
if this is a big deal...

Unscrupulous VW service dept.? by
Gary D
How do you handle an unscrupulous VW service department after they have
ripped you off? I've contacted my state's attorney general and they
steer you to The Better Business Bureau, which has no teeth. VOA takes
no responsibility for their dealers by saying they are independantly
owned and they...

Drivetrain layouts? by
Paul Stevens
Having owned two Rabbits and an 85 Jetta, I'm familiar with
VW's transverse engine, front wheel drive layout.
What other drivetrain layouts did VW use in models sold in
the US during the 1980's?

Maximize Your Golf Potential by
[email protected]
You have certain physical capabilities. If your pro tells you to make
a 90 degree shoulder turn and you can't... what does he tell you next?
I can tell you it's to make some kind of "compensation" in your swing
to make that shoulder turn. The result is less power, more miss-hits
and an even MORE...

wondering if I can fit light weight 18" wheels on it with this
suspension. I don't...

Heater Core Replacement in Rabbit by
Tube Audio
Hi
I have a 1984 GTI Rabbit WITHOUT air conditioning.
I need to replace my heater core.
I've searched through previous post and am still not clear on the procedure.
Does the heater box need to be removed or can I just take a side panel off
of the heater box to gain access to the heater core.

Common parts failures on older Golfs? by
Jem Berkes
I have a 1998 Golf which has 110,000 km on it and is generally in pretty
good shape. It has not suffered any major failures yet and I'm trying to
make sure I have maintained vital parts to prevent expensive failures on
long trips, specifically engine related.
Oil and filter regularly changed,...
