5 gallon add-on tank for Rabbit by Paul Stevens
Years ago, the JC Whitney catalog listed a 5 gallon aux fuel tank that installed in place of the spare tire on the Rabbit. I can't find it on the JC Whitney website. Does anyone know if the tank is still made, and who carries it? -- Paul Stevens

Need 1.8T turbo valve by Rex B
I need the little plastic valve that dumps excess boost. It's about $45 at the dealer. I'd like to get one that will last a little longer, but I dont' want to spend $150. Any alternatives? Or, is there a better deal on the OE? -- - - Rex Burkheimer Fort Worth TX

93 fox coil problems by JQ
My dad has a 93 fox wolfsburg edition. It will not start. He replaced the coil, and it ran at an idle for a few minutes then cut out. When he touched the coil it was very hot, and thinks something may have blown it. Can anyone information give me any information on what could cause this?

Plastic drip tray by Papa
My car is a 1988 VW (Rabbit) Cabriolet Convertible. It has the cheapest and flimsiest black plastic drip tray I have ever seen. I am talking about the tray under the hood, just forward of the windshield. I think it is intended to direct rain water away from the windshield wiper motor and...

Hi All. I have a 98 cabrio that has an exhaust leak coming from in front of the converter. Unfortunatley I cannot see where the leak is due to the heatshield. What I would like to know, is if there is a flex coupling between the downpipe and the converter, or does the coverter and downpipe bolt...

Tires . . . yet again by H2Only
Dear NG: It's almost time to get some 185-14/60 rubber for the new (used) Audi rims that will (modestly) upgrade my 'Rocco. Perusing TireRackdotcom, I have settled on the Yokohama HS4. I know the Dunlop D60-A2 (now superseded I think) has been mentioned frequently here, but it got poor reviews...
