I will have a 1.8 digifant engine for sale shortly. I was just

WTB: Control arm. by
Jedediah Frey
After a fresh snow my right control arm met it's fate with a curb.
I have 2 parts cars, but they're 3 hours away. parts4vws has new ones
w/bushings for $45.00 + S&H.
I was hoping that someone had one here for sale. It doesn't need to
be pretty. Just a A2 right control arm with bushings. It's...

Bad service experience by
[email protected]
I purchased a 99 Passat recently. 2.8L V6 5 speed. 49K
miles. The car ran great, I loved it. Since it was close to 50K
miles, I decided to get maintenance done, and took it to
Stevens Creek Volkswagen, in Santa Clara, CA.
They kept my car for 2 days, and now after spending more than
$1000, it...

Passat flasher relay by
KenM
Have a 2000 Passat. The flasher relay has developed a mind of its own, and
is clicking whenever it darned well feels like it.
When the right turn signal is on and it turns off, the relay sometimes
clicks for an extra couple of seconds. But the light on the dash and the
bulb outside are not...

Wipers? by
Glenn
Thanks to all who replied to my post about a 97 Jetta TD. I passed on
it as it was about 4K overpriced!
On one of the worst days of the year for rain, the wipers on my 93 Golf
decided to pack it in. They move really slow on the slower speeds, but
as soon as I put them to high, the fuse (20A)...

VW brain fart by
ihatespam
It's probably just me, but the upcoming Jetta (most recent auto mags have
pics) has to be one of the WORST VW designs to come down the pike in a long
time. I mean, styling inspiration via Corolla? How more mundane and boring
can a car get than that? I'm not much of a fan of the newest Golf...

Rex Merriweather
I just did a clutch job on a 91 Jetta. Everything went well (have done many
of these) after s few days the clutch started to go out of adjustment. It
now is impossible to get into gear while the car is running, (grinds). Do
these self adjusting clutch cables go bad? This one doesn't seem broken....
