XJ LED Taillights by
caps
Help. I am being driven nuts by my jeep. I have a 2001 Jeep Cherokee
XJ/ I replaced my turn signal and brake lights with LED bulbs and
they flashed way too fast. I then bought a LED flasher unit that is
designed for LEDs (EP27-L) since I was told that there is no such
thing as a heavy duty...

CJ2A rear springs by
Bob[_25_]
My CJ2A has two set of springs on the rear. The normal spring under and its
looks like a heavy load spring over set on top of the axle. Was this a
factory option for a CJ, or some special thing someone added.

Starter problems by
nrs
I recently had a starter rebuilt and now that it is installed, it does
not work very well. It did not have any shims originally and it was
re-installed the same way. Sometimes it does not engage the flywheel
and when it does, it makes rumbling sounds. Also, it makes a scraping
sound sometimes,...

Been out of touch with the latest and greatest in amateur radio gear.
So, looking for any first hand recommendations on antenna/mount
combo's for a KJ that I'm picking up this week. If I remember rite,

Crushed Red Pepper
I drove my 86 CJ for 10 years, traded a few months ago for a '04 TJ Columbia

upgrade. I have the 4.0 and 5speed. There a lot of things i miss about my

Upgrade Jeep or commuter bike? by
brianc
So the high cost of gas has got me thinking about a motorcycle as a
daily commuter. Unbelievably the wife has bought off on the idea?! I
don't believe in carrying debt (whenever possible), and these days I'm
of the opinion that if I can't pay cash for it, I don't really need
it. If anyone of you...

I love my Jeep. I've had it since I drove it off the lot new. That
was 140k miles ago, and it still looks and runs nearly the same as my
first trip...Except
The last few months it has been running hot once in awhile. It is
generally on very hot and humid days, but in the past it handled...

83 GW power steering gear leaking by
Fred[_9_]
Hi
My 83 GW (360 V8) power steering gear just started leaking badly and
all the fluid is gone. Does anyone have any likely leak spots
to look for? The leak looks like it is coming out of the gear
box somewhere. Hoses are ok.
Thanks
Fred

95 yj starting problem by
nrs
My '95 YJ (2.5 engine) started having this problem just yesterday. I
turn the key and the starter starts to run for an instant then it cuts
off and nothing moves and makes no noise. I turn the key to off and
immediatly to start again and it fires right up and runs fine. It has
not (yet) happened...

Child safety in a TJ Sport by
griffin
I've got a '99 TJ Sport and a 4 year old who I normally transport around in
a car. Are Jeeps safe for children? Any special car seats, strap setups,
cautions, warnings, pieces of advice, etc to keep him as safe as possible if
I want to take him for a ride?
Thanks

'07 Wrangler 2-door - Sunrider problem? by
frenchy[_1_]
I just bought a 2007 Wrangler 2-door with the sunrider top option,
however the manual doesn't have ANY description of how to use the
sunrider for the 2-door, only the 4-door. I figured out that I had to
slide the two plastic retainers forward on the side bows on the 2-
door, so that I could then...

Mike Romain
I am in the process of putting a new frame under my CJ7 and figure it is
time to go all new with most everything hooked onto the frame.
I keep running into these Rugged Ridge products which are a new name to me.
Has anyone used any of their products and do they hold up?
New product line names...
