Which coolant for 2003 Cherokee by
Art M
I'm about to flush my brother's 2003 Cherokee (160,000 miles). Should I look
for HOAT or use the fits all Prestone stuff or something else.
Thanks

AMC 20 Seals - Questions? by
[email protected]
I'm thinking (again) that I need to replace the seals in the AMC 20
rear axle of my 83 CJ7 (wide track).
I understand there are two (2) seals - an "inner" that helps keep the
grease/lube in the pumpkin, and an "outer" that protect the bearings
and keeps crap from going into the axle tube, and...

Rear door hinges on 1998 Wrangler by
Grunff
Hi all,
I've just bought a 1998 Wrangler - what a great car! Love driving it.
The rear door (tailgate) hinges are extremely stiff, and make a loud
creaking noise. I've soaked them in penetrating oil, but that has made
no difference.
Before I take them off and investigate further, I thought I'd...

When it rains..it pours... (95 XJ wont start) by
noneofyourbusiness
My 95 XJ is dead...
No lights no buzzers no start.
The battery reads 12.6 (or 12.8?) on a volt meter, and there is good
ground between the engine and the body (and the battery and the body).
The "main" fuse in the engine compartment (40 amp) is good (but I
cracked open the shell trying to pull...

Front bumper and fenders questions by
Chris Berninger
Hey all Jeep owners...I have a 2005 Rubicon Unlimited....very factory,
have made no customizations to it thus far. I'm not very mechanically
inclined, e.g. I don't change my own oil or really do anything myself
to the Jeep. Last week I hit a patch of ice and slammed the front
passenger side of...

My 73 Jeep CJ5 by
[email protected]
Well I am now understanding why people love Jeeps so much. I bought a
73 Jeep cj5 with the 304 V8 about 6 months ago and I love it to death!
People say thats its a poor choice for every day transportation but I
dont want to spend my money on another vehicle. I'd much rather put my
hard earned cash...

I need tires! by
jerryg
Greetings. I am looking for a set of used tires for my Wrangler.
Something close to the stock size that came on it, or a little larger.
I would trade a decent set of BFG A/Ts 31x10.5x15 for them. My tires
are in great shape. I drive 40 miles one way to work everyday and
really don't like them. I...

Wrangler Bike Rack?? by
Capt.Morgan
I am getting ready to purchase a receiver hitch bike rack for my 02 Wrangler
online. I am worried about the spare tire bring too far out and blocking the
length. I have a 2" receiver. Are there special racks for jeeps, has anyone
had this problem?
Thanks

Hard top window update by
Greg[_1_]
Got the side window for my hardtop cut, they did a nice job matching it.
Although I did get it in today, there must be an easy way to install a
window into the seal and into the top. Took me about an hour with a couple
screw drivers, didn't damage rubber or anything, but as I say there must be...

YJ stock ride height by
The Merg[_1_]
Hey guys,
I got the front shackles on - I can see the difference in fender
clearance already. I'm waiting on grease sleeves (I'm pretty sure
that's what they're called) for the rear, which Performance Accessories
neglected to include in the box.
I was hoping somebody here knows the stock ride...

'95 Cherokee Sport - Courtesy lights stay on by
Peter Bogiatzidis
Hello,
I've tried searching for help with this problem without any success and was
hoping to find some help here in this group.
The other day, I replaced the headlight switch on the above vehicle ('95
Cherokee Sport) for a friend, who had broken the old one by pulling out the
knob out too far....
