Politics and guns are Not in this group's Charter by
Mike Romain
Must be election time in the US again or something with all you gun
freaks going crazy and getting ready for a shooting war eh?
When is this damn election over so this group can get back on the topic
of Jeeps like the group's Charter calls for?
There are places to talk politics and guns. This...

Uh oh, Here We Go Again! by
JEEPMAN
I know this has been discussed here before, but I'm going to bring it
up again: Is it too late to switch over from dino oil to a synthetic
blend at 28K? The model year is 2002 and I've had the oil changed on or
about every 3K miles. Also, does the system have to be flushed? TIA

CHECK GAUGES: Zero Oil Pressure reading-
First had this problem on my way back home, I stuck in traffic, in the
middle of the summer. It was a hot day, and I had been driving for 40
minutes. I was at 4,000miles with my oil, which is 5 part synthetic,
1 part Lucas.
I told my mechanic that I...

Close Call! by
Stimpy
OK, I'm now still shaking from out little trip up a mountain road to play in
the snow. We went up this seemingly harmless road I have been up several
times before. I noticed sliding in some places on the way up so I decided to
turn around (good thing I did when I did, 'cause it got steeper from...

D35 axle bearings by
C.L. \Budd\ Cochran
About a year and a half ago I bought an 88 XJ (4.0, Renix, BA-10/5, NP-231,
3.07 axles) with a lot of probs, but I thought, "it's cheap enough and
shouldn't cost a lot . . . . ."
Yeah, right. So far the cost is over $1500 not counting the purchase price.
I replaced the bearings on the D-35 rear...

{{ OT }} Computerj (PC) Troubles with PCI Buss by
Jeff Strickland
I have a PC that was running okay, but developed a problem where the mouse
locks up -- stops moving -- and the entire rest of the computer freezes at
the same time. In the grand scheme of chicken-and-egg, I don't know that the
computer freezes and the mouse stops moving, or the mouse stops and...

Group Map by
KJ.Kate
In one of the groups that I read, someone posted a link to a group map.
In their case they were talking about locating parts or moving them or some
such thing, but I think it would be kind of neat just to see where folks
here are from.
I took the giant leap, started one for this group and even...

Be Grateful for DCX. At Least They Aren't FORD! by
Ted
Be glad, Jeep lovers, DCX and not Ford got Jeep , and FORD got some
others...too bad for them.
If Ford is so great, let them introduce their own Wrangler-like
product with horizontal and not vertical bars. Ford isn't so great. The
V8 flathead with its three exhaust ports was a piece of dog poop...

Hello,
I haven't posted here in a couple years, but I am having a problem with
my '00 TJ suspension and I hope someone can help.
I noticed a loud clunk when I would turn and the weight of the Jeep
would shift. Also, steering was very skittish. So I had my
brother-in-law look where the sound was...

Jeep Front End Question/ 2000 JGC + Bonus Question!! by
James[_1_]
This is a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 130,000 miles.
The sympton is just a bit hard to describe. When I am driving on a rocky,
gravel road, I feel a shaking in my steering column. It is very
weird....... if the road is very rutty, I can only assume that something
in the front end is worn...
