STOP what you're doing - YES, WHY DON'T YOU ?? by
Papa
Please stop multi-posting your sales pitches in these forums, which are
technical discussion groups. This is just not the place, and you will pick
up few, if any, sales for whatever it is you are marketing. Thanks.

followup: '81 Scirocco craps < 2800 rpm by
nutso fasst
Thanks for all the advice, in particular that from "old and brittle" Andrew,
because it looks like old and brittle is the problem.
I replaced most of the vacuum hoses and fittings 2yrs ago, but one presented
a problem: a plastic part connected via a short hose to the front of the
intake manifold....

VW Rabbit Diesel will not start after cylinder head was replaced - help by
JH
I just completed installing a rebuilt cylinder head, timing belt, and
tensioner, in my 78 VW Rabbit Diesel. The engine turns over, but will
not start. It looks like a fuel delivery problem because there is no
smoke, or fuel smell. According to the Bentley manual, the fuel system
is self...

Cup holders??!! by
Mad Maxine
Does anyone have a source for decent cup holders for my '88 Jetta? I
keep spilling my f#$%*@!g coffee all over the floor under the passenger
seat and losing my bottles of water.
I could purchase some cheap dangly thing that hooks to the window, but
I'd be willing to bet I'd knock it off within the...

VW Golf Parts Help! by
Mantovani
I have a Golf model GLX 1997 (made in Mexico) and I need to find a
rubber part that is used on the Gear Shift mechanism. It is a rubber at
the size and shabe of a golf ball with a hole in the middle. I know it
is a weird way to describe it, but the translation from the VW draw is
something like...

I have a 96' Jetta Trek. A couple of months ago, I clipped a deer, going
about 35. Dented my fender, but everything else seemed fine. Car drove
straight and ran fine. Then, all of a sudden, tranny quit going into
drive. I can rev the engine, and it will drop into 1st, then drives...

floor mat color and replacement? by
Bill Kearney[_1_]
How does one tell what color is used for the interior? Is it part of the
VIN or otherwise documented somewhere? My wife's 96 Cabrio needs new floor
mats and I'd like to get OEM ones that match properly. The color isn't
quite tan but not grey, sorta in-between.
If/when I figure out the color,...

Okay. I'm now having some starting/running issues. I noticed last night

could be that the thermostat in the water system is sticking since it's left
