Chipped 2003 A4 3.0? by
Troy Bruder
Anyone have a 2003 A4 3.0 Quattro chipped??
I'm having a terrible time with my "drive by wire" system.. The delays
between aggressive downshifts is terrible. Of course, everything is
operating "within manufacture specifications" so there's nothing to
adjust... And I was wondering if maybe...

Possible fix for "dead" autoboxes by
5potnoodle
I don't believe it but apparently it works 9 times out of 10.
Experiencing a slipping box and losing drive after a few minutes? Happened
to me once, mechanic told me it needed a new box so ended up scrapping the
car. Wish I had been told this little trick beforehand. For the cost of
doing it over...

Mileage per tank?? by
Daz N
Hi,
I recently changed my BMW 330ci for an A4 Avant 1.9TDi, after a few short
months I've decided I don't get on with diesel engines so I've now swapped
this for an A4 Avant 3.0 Quattro Sport.
Question is how many miles should I aim to get from a tank of fuel,
obviously it depends on driving...

Variable (50K) service on old A3 - UK price? by
Alex
So my 2000 A3 1.6S has just told me to cue up the variable service, it's
done 50K miles. I live in the UK (Yorkshire), how much would this service
cost at an Audi dealer, in your view? What do they do at this service, btw?
I think I should maintain the Audi service history.
On another point my...

Erratic Fuel Gauge by
Graham Humphreys
I have a 1998 A6 2.8 Quattro Avant ( uk car) with 150,000 miles in very good
condition & full history. Lately the fuel gauge has been playing up, showing
full for 150+ miles then dropping rapidly until it gets to half, if I then
fill it up I can get 50-55 litres in (70 litre tank) so obviously...
