Skip 66KG Lawson[_2_]
Ok, now that we have determined that the problem with the distributor
hold down will require that I pull the distributor out, I am wondering
if I should go ahead and upgrade the ignition with the Pertronix Ignitor
product while I have the thing out.
Have you guys had any experience with this...

BANG! Maailmankaikkeuden historia./Neutriino.
Neutriinot ovat pieniä ja hyvin kevyitä hiukkasia. Niitä syntyy
ydinfuusiossa, jotka toimivat tähtien (esimerkiksi Auringon,
perusydinvoimalan) energian lähteinä. Useiden vuosien ajan neutriinojen
oletettiin olevan massattomia, mutta nykyään tiedetään...

Need Help To Identify Hood by
LordPacal
Greetings All,
Just acquired a 74 VW Standard Type 1 AH-A 1600cc engine and having
trouble finding a replacement air vent for the hood. Saw one(chrome) on
BugCity-USA but not sure. Would probably prefer finding a black one as
the Bug has minimal chrome, but anything will do to hide the open...

Fenders, taillights, apron, bumper, jack by
Swenson
I'm gonna toss these up on Samba probably this week but I thought I'll see
if anyone here needed them before I did. I'm in New Hampshire so probably
you'd want to be from New England, otherwise shipping could be a killer. I
have just removed these from my '68 Bug:
(1) pair rear fenders, in good...

Inuvikkers by
[email protected]
To All:
Ten years ago this July a group of VW bus owners drove to Inuvik, 200
kilometers north of the Arctic Circle. Recently, several people have
contacted me asking for information about the trip. To keep from
repeating myself I've opened a Group on Yahoo titled Inuvikkers and
have posted my...

1977 beetle seats - is it safe to remove the headrest by
Jessdownunder
Hi guys
I am just about to confirm an order with JBugs for some seat upholstery
and thought I would ask the question. I have the 1977 seats with
seperate headrest and was contemplating taking off the headrest to go
for the low back look (also saves $50). Is this safe to do and when
the seat...

Shy Posters by
Cletus
This is for you, Mr. Hoover,
The reason why I have been a shy poster is because I have been a VW
idiot for 23 years. I don't wanna be laughed at by all these experts.
It all started in 1984, I got enamored with VW's because a girl I
liked drove a Ghia, rust bucket. My brother and I...

Optima battery in a 72 Super by
Barnhart Pinball[_1_]
Hey, I'm sure this has been overdone - but after looking at a rusty battery
box due to a leaky battery - I'm swapping to an Optima - but their website
does not show a reference for a 72 Super. Why would that be unless they are
physically larger? I could use any advice. Thanks, I'm learning the...

Hey Guys,
I hope someone can answer this question for me, others keep telling me

When the New Beetle came out, we thought that it might increase the
interest in Aircooleds and raise the values. Instead all we got was a
kick in the A** from VWoA. I wonder if it will be cool to drive an
Aircooled after Lindsay Lohan drives one in the movie.

34 PICT 3 Choke Adjustment Screw by
Randall Brink
I have lost the screw that adjusts the "step" part of the idle adjustment on
a new Pierburg 34 PICT carbm and haven't been able to find another one. The
supplier, Aircooled.net, where I usually buy all my parts has not been able
to supply a new screw.
Does anyone know a source for these? I noticed...
