try any other test or problem points before I drop the tank and yank the

Flex-Fuel Egnines by
Big Shoe
Saw a very interesting article today talking about Brazil's success
with flex-fuel vehicles. They are reported to be energy independent
and predictions are it will happen here too. I often see Ford refer
to flex-fuel engines in their advertising and wonder how I can tell if
I have one. Cannot...

99 XLT replacing wheel stud advice by
Mikepier
I stripped a wheel stud on the rear wheel while changing a flat. I
purchased a new stud and bolt at the auto parts store and will try to
change the stud tomorrow. The truck has rear disc brakes. Is it simply
banging out the old stud and putting the new one in ? Any advice
appreciated. Thanks

find out where that vehicle is EXACTLY!!! It is Advanced Internet Based
GPS Vehicle Tracking. You can also find out how fast the vehicle has
been going, and even call your cell phone when it exceeds a specific

Explorer Electric Door Locks (97) by
GuySt
Has anyone had problems with explorer electric door locks. Mine will lock
and unlock for no reason or click lock or unlock continously until I shut
off the vehicle. If I lock the doors manually or electronicly, after a
short time (1-5 minutes) the doors will unlock.

The local Ford dealer said only vehicles bought through the deal can

The Chain tensioner on my 97 SOHC motor protrudes from the head about 2
inches. The factory catalogs make them look like they mount flush to the
motor? Can someone enlighten me?
Thanks!

Hi,
I've just bought Ford Explorer 2002 XLS with its factory made in-dash

Had both rear wheel bearings replaced on a 2002 Explorer at a
