'93 Town & Country, Replacing ABS accumulator, Bendix-10 by
[email protected]
Hi again;
The saga continues. I've got a 1993 T&C van with the Bendix 10 ABS.
I've resigned myself to the fact that I have to replace the ABS
accumulator.
Parts cost approx $250.
So -- Where is this thing located? How difficult is it to replace
myself.
I've done lots of auto repair work before...

'93 Voyager 3 speed auto band adjustment by
SBlackfoot
Yeah yeah yeah, still looking for a decent shop manual... All I have for now
is my (ugh) Haynes and the internet...
1993 Grand Voyager 3.0L, 3 speed auto, just rolled over 180k kms.
I finally got around to changing the fluid/filter on the minivan today. I
intend to change the fluid in the pan...

'93 Voyager coolant recovery system problem by
Walt
Hi
My '93 Plymouth Voyager 3.0L has a problem. The coolant recovery tank
accepts the hot 'excess' antifreeze when needed, but as the radiator cools,
no antifreeze returns to the radiator. No coolant is really lost, it just
is replaced by air in the radiator neck. The radiator cap is new (the...

'93 Voyager inner tie rod ends by
SBlackfoot
Hopefully an easy question. How does the large clamp come off of the boot on
the inner tie rod ends? It looks and feels like the band on a CV joint, but
I'd hate to pry and snap it off only to regret it. And what the hell is with
that tube running between the boots, through the rack-clamps, with a...

'93 Voyager rear hubs, pressed into drums? by
SBlackfoot
Quick question. Are the rear drums and hubs pressed together, or are they
slip-fit pieces like the front rotors on the front hubs? I ask because the
new drums didn't come with the hubs and I don't have tools to press them
apart and back together in the garage.

'94 Acclaim "key jiggle" turns fan and air bag light on/off by
Gary Kaucher
1994 Plymouth Acclaim 3.0 (6 cyl)
There must be some kind of loose connection in the housing that my key goes
into. Lately when I'm driving down the road with my A/C on, the blower fan
will turn off and the "air bag" light will come on. If I jiggle the key a
little I can get everything back to...

'94 Acclaim - No Headlights in Cold Weather by
Gary Kaucher
The headlights on my '94 Plymouth Acclaim won't work when the outside
temperature is below freezing. But they do work when the temperature rises
above freezing. All the other lights and electrical components work fine
regardless of the temperature. Any suggestions appreciated.

'94 Acclaim stops running suddenly....... by
Ron
My '94 Acclaim (2.5 w/ auto tranny; 60 k miles) suddenly died while I
was driving it home today and will not restart (turns over fine). I also
don't hear the 2 second electric fuel pump noise when I switch the key
to the run position.
It has stored a number 11 code. I believe the distributor...

'94 Grand Caravan Heating Problem by
Ed Wojciechowski
Well, It's like cold here in Pittsburgh and the van does not have heat.
Checked all the usual things, fluid, hoses get hot, but no hot air comes
out of the vents. Had to close loop the back heater, because the pipes
rotted out, does this have something to do with it or is there something
else?

Since that day, it runs in "limp mode". The transmission stay in
second gear and won't change. Can just changing the air

'94 LeBaron intermittent starter problem by
David James Polewka
The other day I hit the ignition and just got a click.
That was the second time. I jumped it, and it would
start only in neutral. I took it in and they couldn't
find anything wrong! Should I replace the starter?
What else could be broke? Solenoid, etc?

'94 minivan rear wiper problems by
[email protected]
I know this subject has been covered before as I've searched the
archives. However, I've still got some questions.
This van belongs to my father-in-law so I don't really know all the
history except that the rear wiper wouldn't shut off. Actually the
wiper arm was not moving but the motor was...

'94 Sundance overcooling at highway speeds by
Sinerviz
Hi,
I have a 1994 Sundance with 2.5L engine that will not warm up when
driving at highway speeds. In city driving it will get 3/4 the way up
the temp guage, but at highway speeds it stays right on cold. Also, in
city driving, if I really rev the engine high, it will also drop the
temp. down to...

'94 Town & Country A/C caught fire- now what?? by
[email protected]
Hi. I have a beautiful 1994 T&C with 209,000 miles, no rust...we love
it.
Last night I smelled burning and saw a lot of smoke coming out of the
hood.
Now, I'm a professional firefighter and usually enjoy working a car
fire, but not when it is in the car I'm driving.
The A/C has not worked well in...

'94 Voyager - what is code 32 ???? by
Greg Gall
Help!
My '94 Plymouth Voyager 3.0 L keeps lighting the "check engine" light. When
I check the code, it comes up as 32.
This has me puzzled - according to the Haynes manual, code 32 means EGR
failure on California models.
Since my car is a Canadian model, does this code still apply?
(There...

'95 Caravan 3 sp. Tranny Governor by
Rick
Hi all,
Haven't been here in while, as the wife's Caravan was running along
great, for the longest time.
But alas, I find I'm having tranny problems. This is on a rebuilt
tranny with about 15K miles on it. Seems it wants to start off in
2nd, then shifts into 3rd whenever it wants to. If I...

'95 Caravan Fuel Pump or Relay Issue ? by
[email protected]
Hi All,
'95 Caravan, 3.0L, 162K Miles, new fuel pump installed at 157K miles.
My van now starts then stalls out, intermittantly. When I turn the
key, I hear the pump whine, and then a "click", under the hood, which
I assume is the fuel pump relay. The van starts and...
