OT Something New at the Gas Station by
Bill Berckman
I passed by a gas station/convenience store that had a sign out
advertising something that they do that nobody else does. The sign
said "We Pump The Gas For You" Wonder why nobody ever thought of that
before. LOL

The Windshield & Rearview Mirror Saga by
Joe Colella
My son through a baseball in the car knocking the rearview
mirror off the windshield.
Now get this... The adhesive between the baseplate and the
windshield did not fail; the glass did.
To be accurate, 2/3 of the adhesive between the baseplate
and the windshield did fail, but 1/3 did not resulting...

Same injection problem... by
Steph
Hi everyone,
I posted a message last summer. Didn't have time for the follow-up
(Thanks speedy Jim for the reply, by the way).
The problem is with a 1982 aircooled westy (Vanagon).
At first, it went so rich that it would lose all power.
Once in the workshop, I had a look on the fuel pressure...

Removing bus steering wheel by
[email protected]
I'm trying to remove the steering wheel on a '62 Single Cab.
I've read all the threads I can find. After loosening the nut I've
tried pounding on the bottom with a shock resistant hammer (until I
made a new crack, ouch!), pulling and tugging, and heating the metal
part with a blow torch.
I see...

Fuel line for the fiberglass buggy by
The Webbers Hilltop Cycle ATV
A follow up to Priming the fuel pump . I have found out I have a hole in the
fuel line somewhere in the channel. It looks like someone has used a stiff
type of fuel line made out of plastic. It is not rubber or steel. Is this a
common practice to run this type of tubing through the channel ?...

Thing windows by
brassbend
I have a set of Thing windows that need to be redone, the plastic turned
blue, then purple, then black then cracked up.
What is the best way for a do it yourselfer to fix these things? Are they
built so a competent upholstery shop could fix them?
