'Key, for your information, my news server filters out the junk messages
just fine, and all I ever see is your posted replies to the abuse addresses.
In other words, to me, you're the spammer. Please report abuse all you
want, but don't post the fact that you did it here.

Same here, the only time I see these are when 'Key does his thing and sends
a copy to this news group.

Every group needs a cop I guess.

His motive is probably to scare the spammer into stopping. If he had half a
clue he would know that they're not reading the newsgroup and even if they
did it wouldn't phase them a bit. Probable some innocent Comcast customer is
getting their account suspended because of this guy. Nothing worse than an
ignorant vigilante

"CardsFan",
well then, you need to learn what spam is.
not everyone's news server filters it.
also,
not everyone knows where to report the spam.
it also takes many reports before action will be taken
against the person posting the spam.
I am just trying to stop some of this spam.
NOT just ignore it like you are doing.
also,
if you don't like what I am doing?
just simply utilize your kill-file.
this IS an open forum !

Then they ought to consider a better news server.

Then they should learn how to look at the message headers.

Perhaps you believe that even one person gets on the bandwagon because of
"what [you're] doing." I don't.

And I think you're adding to it.

I don't have to ignore it, remember? I never see it.

Done. Have a good campaign.

Yea sure you know where to report spam. Like a pro spammer is going to trace
back to Comcast. What would the world do without you. You're a true servant
to mankind. Now stop clogging up Usenet with your own brand of spam and your
ego centric mission and get back to talking about Vettes. Personally I think
YOU are the spammer using a different account and trying to get everyone to
take notice of those advertisements. If you're going to be Mr. Spamcop at
least learn how to do it responsibly. Sheesh!
