Lake Shore Drive (LSD, man). Note the barriers that could be raised and
lowered to create 6/2 or 2/6 lanes during rush hours.

That may be the Palmolive (later Playboy) building in the distance straight
ahead. Skyline looks way different nowadays.

It sure looks like it, cropduster, but the buildings didn’t look like they
were in the right positions.
