funny i had a tech one time tell me the 2.7 is fine if you run
synthetic........ but i kinda doubt that will make the cylinder heads drain

i'll be looking for signal and ground to the sensor tonight. but i am
hearing some weird noises in park and reverse, and one day last week i had
some issues with putting it in park and the car...

ok my Chilton's manual of all things, actually told me it's a min 4 volt
signal. and resistance below 5.0 ohms. I never did find it in alldata.


We'll see what this leads up to from here.

42LE trans wiring

1st gen LH, 42LE trans. it's in limp-in mode. getting code for the output
speed sensor. went ahead and changed it since its cheap. changed fluid and
filter, cleared codes but still in limp mode....

this one is a 200 yr model, and it appears to be a v6 but that's all i know.

yeah i recall the mitsu one. thought it was long gone by 2000 but could be
wrong.

Time to replace the original factory battery in my '00 300m?

the only thing between Amarillo and the north pole in winter time is a two
wire barb wire fence and one wire will most likely be down........or so i am
told.

something i am curious about......try pulling the vacuum hose off the brake
booster with the engine off and stick a long wire tie or wire or something
to use as a make shift "dipstick" down inside...

a lot of that depends on the fuel in your area, as well as total hours
running, not just miles......

300M timing belt: it's time -- but where?

most all the shops out there have access to alldata and Mitchell's so i
don't think TSBs will be a problem. if the shop that's worked on it before
still has the tools, then they might still have...

Steering wheel play in Stratus

tie rods, rack bushings and bolts......i found 2 rack bolts loose this
weekend, and possibly the steering link connecting the steering column to
the rack.

first cyl on passenger side is #1 cyl on 3.5s. not familiar with the other
engines

yeah a 97 has the 3 coil pack over on the right hand side valve cover/cyl
head.


those tubes are just real long spark plug boots. if you have coil on plug,
it should be a 2nd gen LHS......about a...
