Default Golf 1.8 Mk III SE (same as GL.. ADZ engine) not starting.. help!!

Thank you Peter.

I tried the above to step 5 - no significant pressure.

I'm going to the garage this afternoon. I can't afford any work, but
they said they would take a look.

Contemplating K-seal...
