Default 01 GLX Carbio - popping sound

Why do you want to trash VW?

My old 99 Miata had 46000 miles and sold for 10300. I ended up with 2 yr
newer car with 9000 less miles and a 2 yr warranty for 4200 dollars
difference. I got reamed by Mazda when I had to replace a rain rail for 300
plus after trying out the Robbins non OEM part that was not exact fit and
had to go with original Mazda part to solve a leak problem. Yes the Miata
was a good car but I think the issue I've had with the VW has been with the
car since it was built. Unless you really knew it was not quite right it
could have just been ignored. Try pricing a Miata Bose system replacement
for a speaker or head unit, Mazda's not perfect either

I have had older Cabrios and Miatas both have provided good service. If you
want to read newspapers and get free coffee try out the chiropractor's
office after driving in your Miata when your back gets some age on it.

I was hoping to get an answer about this noise question not a Miata
commercial. Perhaps with knowing the issues on the deal I did not do too
badly. When I complained to the Miata dealer about the rain rail all I got
was lip service. At lease the VW people stand behind their product.
