That you know of. As you've demonstrated, you're not the most observant
of drivers.

Nope, he's absolutely right.

Isn't it interesting that your actual behavior is in direct opposition
to your stated goal?

Improper driving does *not* minimize risk to you or anyone around you.

Driving properly, if you would ever try it, would indeed minimize risk.

> It works.

It's a kludge that just makes things worse for *everybody*.

Again, that you know of.

By definition then, if all people drove similar to the way Dave drives, then
there would be far fewer accidents overall. There would be no one to "block"
which apparently is the main reason that makes the KRETP group to wreck.

These are all interesting discussions...bordering on comical. One think
I've notices. There are radicals on both sides. I'm in the same club as
Dave as it pertains to accidents....none in almost 35 years. The only
ticket I ever received was back in the mid 70's doing 65 in a 55 on I-95.
But, I move right when not passing anyone...which is the difference I have
with Dave. I do this because I don't want any part of being in the middle
of the constant battle between the KRETP crowd and the LLB crowd. (although
apparently it is safe over there for LLBers...only unsafe for the KRETPers).
From the "outsiders" perspective, both sides look darn silly to me! The
lengths of danger and escalation each will go to for something that is of
little consequence (either actively trying to slow speeders OR speeders
trying desperately to get to their destination 30-seconds sooner). It's the
dumbest damn thing I've ever seen (or read about here). Can't each side
give in just a little bit? KREPT folks, just slow down a little? LLB's
move right more often?

DPH is also missing that his view is now a case of "I'm right and the world
is all wrong".

Well since you have admitted you can't tell what's happening behind you
in the mirrors, how do you -know- you haven't caused and accident??

I keep a fairly good scan for cops and other things out the back via the
internal mirror. If there would have been a recent wreck, I'd have seen it.
No sudden wreck has appeared on the 6 that wasn't there before I passed it.
