Default IL Motorsport Steering Wheel Installation

For those who expressed interest, I put the installation
and pictures of the IL Motorsport airbag steering wheel at:
http://dommelen.net/miata/goodies/steer.htm

That looks really, really nice, probably about as good as they are going
to be able to make an airbag-equipped steering wheel look. I think that
I like it even better than the stock steering wheel on the M2. It looks
about 500% better, imho, than the one that is on my car now.

Darn, I used the small size pictures in the blown up comparisons.
Fixed now.

Hey Leon

I have to say that the wheel looks great! As a matter of fact, with its
curvy appearance that goes with the curvy interior and exterior of the
Miata, it looks like it belongs to the Miata more than the original does.
I'm now wondering why Mazda didn't offer something similar in the first
place for the M1.

Also appreciate the time you must have spent writing your installation
procedure.

Well done!
Jitendra

I don't think the technology was available at that time.

That IS pretty good looking Leon. Nice job. Too bad the exterior color
doesn't match it.
