I had the same issues with my YJ when I went from 225mm wide tires
to 235mm wide tires. I don't recall how much sooner it started to
float, tho.

It's anti-intuitive, but thinner tires are better for snow because
they let the car sink into the snow to give better traction. And
when it's wet, there is more surface to hydro-plane on with wider
tires. It's the exact opposite of what you want when it's dry,
where you want a bigger patch of rubber on the ground.

Infighting? There's no infighting here for anyone who makes effective
ues of a killfile. It shouldn't take you more than a day or two to
learn who to plonk, then the group becomes a much nicer place to visit!

It helps to use a newsreader that allows scoring but even with Outlook
Express you can still eliminate most of the noise.
