Default 1996 Camaro Z28 DTC P0410 and P1416

Greetings,

Vehicle is a 1996 Chevy Camaro Z28, 138k miles. The SES light has been on for awhile...

I've just recently finished building one of these:
http://www.obddiagnostics.com

Hooked it up, all is well, even with freediag under linux it works well.

It is reporting two stored DTCs:
MIL light ON, 2 stored DTCs
P0410 P1416

Handy-Dandy google et all say:
P0410 AIR System
P1416 AIR System Bank 2

....Which is of course, almost worthless. Other googling reveals that P1416 is generally traced to a check valve on the passenger side of the engine.

These codes seem to be related... So now my question.

Is the P1416 dependent on the P0410? In other words, Do I test the check valve indicated by the P1416, or do I head straight for the AIR pump?

Anyone have any other thoughts on this?

Thanks in advance,
Josh
